The Staff were all very friendly and efficient. Customer service was excellent. Loved our room with the door to a private patio next to the pool and beach access just steps away. The band on Friday and Saturday from 4-7pm was very entertaining. We ate in the on-site restaurant- food was tasty, service was great. We also purchased Guy Harvey apparel. There were several comfortable seating areas both inside and outside. We were there over July 4th 250th anniversary and we had fun.
The property is older, but it seems to be well maintained. All beach properties take a beating from sand, salt water and sun. This property was much cleaner than most.

The location was excellent—close to St. Augustine Beach but just far enough away from the busiest areas to be more relaxing. The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. I also appreciated that housekeeping fully respected the “Do Not Disturb” sign and did not interrupt our stay.
The walls are quite thin, and we could hear neighboring guests talking at all hours as well as toilets flushing throughout the day and night. Since the hotel is pet-friendly, some noise is expected, but one guest’s dog barked continuously whenever the owners left the room.
Cleanliness was generally acceptable, but the pool area could have been better maintained, and the bathroom floor and baseboards in our room needed more attention.
