The location is all.
The noise of the construction and the fact that we had our reservations changed at the time we arrived, is when we found out no call no email nothing to notify me of this change. I had 2 reservations and my other party had to go down to the sister hotel. They almost up charged a ridiculous amount, we still were charged more for the change of reservation that was canceled.

Convenient to all surrounding areas we wanted to visit. Coffee in the lobby was a plus. Staff was very helpful with information about the area. Rooms and hallways to the rooms were very clean.
Breakfast buffet was disappointing (compared to other Hampton Inns) with only two hot items but waffle station was great.

The female receptionist at the front desk, I cannot remember her name, who was there when I called Sat morning with questions was so helpful and extra kind and helpful checking me in.

It was on the hill for fireworks but you had to go outside to see anything.
The breakfast was amazing 🤩
We were put in a wrong without drapes for privacy and the morning sun. We got moved to a handicap room without any view at all!
I think booking.com customers get treated differently.
