It was within close walking distance to UT and Moody Centers. Restaurants on site were amazing. Bartenders were great and friendly. I especially loved the new renovations being done as we stayed in a newly renovated room. Very spacious room and bathroom. Lovely bath robes too.

I like staying at this hotel for the annual conference because it’s in great location, still in good repair, staff are nice, there are eating options inside and around the hotel.
I bought tea and croissant from the 123 cafe for breakfast. My tea was good but croissant was old, cold and inedible. I was not pleased.

Both restaurants were excellent, Gabriels in the evening and the Carillon for breakfast (good food and service in both)
Room is generally fine - although even though were on the sixth floor we could hear a lot of street noise
Bathroom is a little dated however shower is good.
Stayed during F1 for Austin so crazy surge pricing for 4 nights (nearly $3000!) (and booked well in advance)
However at NO stage were we told that that the room we booked (facing the tower) is now facing an active construction site. So after travelling for 22hrs we ended up with construction noise starting from 5am on Friday morning, Saturday morning and Sunday morning which ruined the experience.
DO NOT STAY FACING THE TOWER it is not worth the distress
When checking no question about how your stay was either - generally front desk was unperson-able when we had to deal with them
