Everything the staff, the room the everything.
I loved the fact that the rooms were so clean and especially the linen on the beds and the towels.

Room, bed, clean. Location for business. Breakfast on weekend was steam table buffet--food was just like grandma cooked, and was perfect...

The location was easy to find, needs more handicap parking though.
The restaurant hours, breakfast hostess was rude and didn’t really acknowledge customers. The building is old and definitely needs renovations.

We've stayed here before but not in years. We enjoyed our last stay and had guessed maybe it had been newly acquired since it appeared to be in transition and being improved upon. This time we see that it has been remodeled and improved upon so it was even better. It was clean and had a good sized room with everything that we needed. Fantastic price.
Beds were definitely one of the smallest we've experienced in a queen, two-bed room. Definitely no bigger than a double.

Would like to note before starting it is an older hotel so please keep that in mind while reading this review:
The location was great for our needs. The room felt decently spacious and was clean. Nowhere else close by could compete with the value and quality for a night's stay. No extra fee for parking was a major plus. Did offer breakfast as an add-on but we already had plans so did not try their food but it smelled great.
Due to the older nature of the hotel you could hear more or the other guests moving through the hall to get to their rooms. And, the fridge was hidden behind a cabinet door that was a little loud when closing. Otherwise there isn't much to say as a negative.

The lobby was beautiful.
Hair and soap scum in the tub. Hair on the bed. Broken door stop with sharp edge that cut my toe. Handle of fridge was sticky.

The rate of the hotel was affordable.
There wasn’t any complementary breakfast served.

The rate was the only thing that was good about this property.
The room smelled like cigarettes. The room was dingy, and barely kept clean. There was hair and stains in the bathroom when we checked in. Caused unnecessary drama to other guests outside in the hall over a service dog that looked like it was 16 years old.

Beware do not stay at this hotel . We took our service dog and apparently we had complaints of our dog barking . Left the dog in the room for an hour to grab something to eat . When we came back to our room we were meet by STEVEN the front lead clerk .Who stated the dog had been barking all night . We knew he was exaggerating since we had several family members staying on the same floor in four different rooms near our room. He said" he had been calling us to inform us the dog had been barking " however when we checked our phones we had no missed calls or messages . I explained there was another dog a few doors away that had being barking that was down the hall . His response was it's a service dog . To which I explained so Is my dog With out even asking to see documentation we were asked to leave. We were told to we had 10 min to get our stuff and leave . Not to mention he looked high. So when booking make sure you read reviews thoroughly this place smelled like cigarettes' the bath room sink was dirty with hair strands . At night you witness shady people in their cars doing legal activities. You are being CATFISHED it's not what it looks like . Be aware of the front clerk who does not know how to treat guest . He doesn't realize it's people like us who stay there that keep him employed.

Place was clean, rooms were large, parking was free, easy access.
No lounge life it was pretty quiet and no grab and go snack area. The biggest issue is the room faced the highway and whileI have stayed at many hotels in Sacramento County near the freeway I have never stayed in one that was so absolutley loud. You could hear the vibrations all day and night from the cars and big rigs. If you want any kind of quiet do not stay here. It was so loud from the highway. It was literally quieter in the parkinglot then the room, I would have had a better nights sleep if I slept in my car

Close to family and businesses we were going to
Really really noisy. So much traffic noise none of us could sleep. The breakfast was OK but pretty limited. Music in the breakfast area was so loud. It was really hard to talk with one another. No decaf coffee and choice of juices was really limited. No closet in the room, such that it was really difficult to find a place to put clothing other than on top of cabinets.

Hated learning that breakfast would cost an additional $15.

I liked that the room itself was clean, no bugs or anything. Everything on first-look seemed fine. The pool facilities were nice and quiet, there was hot water and amenities for the bathroom as well. The front desk also assisted me in extending my stay for the weekend instead of the one day, which Booking.com could not seem to do. They were very accommodating in that way.
First off, the window in our room (623), was partially damaged near the roof and cracked. The bedsheets had minor stains prior to us arriving. Our room did not get new sheets or towels during our stay, but the housekeeping was happy to knock on our door on our last morning and make sure we were checking out that day.

The place is falling apart
Air conditioning unit fell off the wall and staff seemed as if it’s a normal occurrence happening around the property. The breakfast cover up to two people and the rest of the party have to pay for breakfast starting at $15.
