Nice location, pool area great for families especially for kids in the 4-10 year old range. Rooms were well appointed, with laundry and full kitchen. Grills on-site have great sunset views. Bellhop staff was excellent.
The spa has been closed since January, but you would not know that looking at the website. I was disappointed not to have that as an option, it would have been nice to be offered alternatives at close by hotels. Just disappointed because it’s a “hotel and spa” in the name but clearly no spa any longer!

The property has 4 pools and a nice beach in front of the resort. Staff is friendly and it’s great having a kitchen, washer, and dryer in the room.

The resort is lovely and the beach out the front of the hotel was beautiful. We swam with sea turtles everyday and saw whales frolicking in the distance, we could even hear the whales under the water when snorkelling. Beautiful sunsets on the beach, great boardwalk to walk along. The room was large with plenty of space for our family of 6. The kids loved the slide.
First of all this property should not be called resort and spa because there was no spa which was disappointing as we had intentions of utilising this when we booked. I didn’t love being on ground level because I like to keep the door ajar for fresh air and it would have been quite easy for someone to get in. The kitchen was old and in need of updating as was the washer and dryer. The dryer was a challenge to get clothes dry. For the price of the stay I expected to have cleaning done daily but there is none, you have to call reception for clean towels as you need them. Also having to get beach towels from reception before swimming is a pain. It would be more convenient at the pool. There is not enough seating around pools in the shade and people think they can hold a whole row of chairs for the day while they go off to the beach, this needs to be addressed by staff. It is not in the best location for food either. So there was a bit of a trek when we needed to eat. The supermarket was about a ten minute walk. The food trucks were very expensive in my opinion. Also, the day before we were leaving we received a note slipped under the door advising of pest control planned for the next morning and guests had no choice but to allow them to spray the room while they were staying there, it didn’t affect us as we were leaving but I would have been very annoyed if this had happened while we were there.
