The resort was amazing but I would avoid the restaurant because it had a bug problem every meal.

The resort itself was clean and the view of the lake and balcony are amazing, and the pools!

Sixty-Three Restaurant & Bar was a no go. The food was awesome but everytime I went, there was a bug problem. I went for lunch and there was an ant crawling on my plate. I went for dinner, there was an ant running across the bar. I ordered a margarita and there was a carpet beetle larvae floating in my drink. I left one day early.

Loved the view! Loved that there were things to do like gym, pool, bar!

All the spider webs everywhere we went. From the ground to the ceiling! Spiders covered the inside and outside. For the amount of money you spend and it’s supposed to be a RELAXING resort it ridiculous to have spiders webs all over the place. HUGE ant infestation by the pool, my foot was covered in them.

Great spa experience, but overall left a lot to be desired!

I had five rooms for a company retreat. The spa was great and, of course, so were the views. The location of the resort was great, too.

The rooms were a bit dated and the carpets were dirty in most. We also had an awful experience at lunch in 63 where we waited a very long time to place our order (it seemed the restaurant was understaffed at that time. The rooms seemed overpriced for the conditions they were in. If it wasn't for the spa experience, our overall experience would have been below expectations.

The balcony needs to be hosed down and the screen door could be updated. The facilities are nice but kind of outdated/needs remodeling or refreshing.

Beautiful outdoor facilities. Loved the pool area. Normal rooms and very comfortable. Balcony was private with great views. The indoor bar was very nice, and bartender was super friendly. Restaurant onsite was really good and easy to get a reservation to. Check out host was very nice and explained everything well.

Not enough bartending staff at outdoor pool area during the time we were there. Unable to get a reservation at the spa and were not friendly or attempt to suggest alternative options. Plus, could not book spa reservation online. Check-in host was not very informative and hard to understand.

We love the hotel very lovely is very traditional but they take care of the property. Pool is lovely for kids we had a chance to go to the marina is unforgettable ia very charming Restaurant is not michelin but food is good ! Recommed!

Worn and cracked areas on the leather(?) headboard and the balcony has seen better days. There was a pretty big damp area on the carpet that wasn't anywhere near the bathroom or any water sources. It was surprising to find that most of the amenities closed pretty early for a weekend... I thought that was the point of a resort, to have a good time around the clock, but the pool closed at 10 and the restaurant and bar closed at 11 on a weekend? Weird.

Chose the hotel because of the pool, but didn’t get in the pool

The location, the view, lobby and garden were great. The room view was nice.

The pools were very dirty. Besides the leaves, they were green, full of algae. Not acceptable for an upscale resort. We drove from DFW to celebrate my birthday. The plan was to spend the day at the pool, but we were concerned to get in, since the chemicals didn’t seem to be applied at the correct proportion.

This is a terrible hotel. Absolutely dreadful and I would never stay again or advise anyone to. They charged me $ 414.87 for incidentals!! Actually took off of my card. My invoice was $235.65 and then without notice they charged an extra $135.65 as they said booking.com has not paid them in time!!!! Even tho booking.com took the money out a week previous. I have been waiting a week to get this resolved despite being advised on checkout they would refund me the $314.87 in 3-5 days. No one is replying to emails sent directly to the hotel. During the stay. Despite the room being ready we couldn’t check in at 12.30 unless we paid $50 but we could check in at 2 pm rather than 4pm? What is that all about?! They advertise a pool bar but it was open for an hour and then closed!!! They justified by saying you could still get served drinks by the pool. The rooms are very run down. Carpet needs replacing. Stains on comfy chair - yuck! Balcony not a welcoming balcony not one you would want to sit out on. Generally very disappointed for what was not a cheap hotel and paying extra for king size, lake view and balcony.

This was a disappointment

We had a lakeview room with a beautiful view. Although we didn't use them, the pool facilities looked really nice. Elvis, the bellman, was super nice and very helpful.

On both Saturday & Sunday housekeeping was knocking loudly and consistently on our door right around 8:15am. We had to yell multiple times for them to go away. There were no Do Not Disturb signs for the doorknob. There was a hangtag, which I put outside, but it did not say 'Do Not Disturb' on it, so it must have been for decoration. When we moved the pillows covering the faux leather headboard, we could see that it was all dry & cracked. The breakfast buffet was not good. In general, the hotel could use an update.

The view is beautiful.

The hot tub wasn't working and was the main reason we booked there. The pool area for adults had a lot of kids in it and no one was monitoring it. The pool bar was supposed to be open and wasn't. I did call about the hot tub and they said they were working on it. We waiting over an hour and it never came back on. We were cold. I also quietly asked a staff member about the "adult only" area and he said "yes" it's supposed to be adult only and then just walked away and did nothing. The bed was barely ok. The food was decent. We left a day early.

Very relaxing and enjoyable stay!

Breakfast was delicious and had a great variety of choices at the T&R restaurant breakfast buffet. Staff was friendly and attentive throughout the facility! Pools were beautiful and relaxing. Views were wonderful, especially the sunset. Spa staff was excellent and the view of the lake was amazing.

I am short so the bed height was a bit challenging for me. A printed guide of the facilities with a map, hours, etc. in each room was not provided. However, the staff was very helpful with information when asked.

Not Worth your Money!!!

We had dinner on Friday night. The menu didn’t have a lot of food selection. I’ve had better food at other resorts for the price.

The resort is out dated. The pictures on website look like they were when they barely open. The room was outdated. The sheets had spots. The wall and door needs new. The bed headrest needs to be replaced I felt I went to a pet resort instead of going to relax. Went to let the front desk and the hostess know that the neighbor dogs were crying when I arrived. It happened both days I was there. Came for a special occasion my boyfriend birthday and it was not worth your money.

Bad

The rooms are old and have a bad smell. The children's pool is closed, only adults can access the working pools (we came with 2 children). The restaurant is only open in the morning until 1 and in the evening after 5. Room service is not available. (Our kids are 1.5 and 3) There is no playroom or playground on the territory of the hotel - there is absolutely nothing to do with children there (except to sit in the room). Therefore, we preferred to leave, having lost some of the money. The hotel promised to return the rest of the amount, but instead they wrote off another 290 dollars. The hotel still hasn't confirmed the booking com refund the money!!!
