Van noisy in the room. Wouldn’t stop. Air filter was dirty

When the bed in our first room was absolutely unacceptable (caved into the center - difficult for 2 people to sleep in the bed because you roll onto each other), and we talked to the front desk the following morning, the manager agreed to move us to a different room.

Standard AC wasn't working - had portable AC units in the rooms. Ours wasn't hooked up correctly, and hot air was blowing into the room along with the cold. They fixed it, and the room cooled to a reasonable level (however, not to the level you expect for an air-conditioned hotel). Don't care for the small, thin towels, but that's not a huge deal. I've stayed here before. The whole place just seemed more run-down than my last stay.

Location is excellent. Nice views and neighborhood is kindof quiet

LIC Manhattan has undoubtedly a good location. If you're good to take the subway, then you're going to enjoy it there. The rooms are quite okay and the staff is kind and helpful.

The AC was not working. For the price one paid to be here, one expects few things, and that includes sufficient air conditioning. Staff did act fast to provide a mobile AC unit, which still did a poor job under the heatwave we had. We emailed management, no response. Rude! Usually, when this happens in May you should have an extra room available but anyways..
