I was satisfied. Even though you had a pipe burst...it was easy to overlook. Very happy.

Ideal location for access to the metro (red line) and airport. The NOMA metro station is a 1 min walk from the hotel. Housekeeping was great. Staff was very friendly and welcoming.

The sofabed is really only large enough for one person.

Staff was pleasant and the room was clean and comfortable. Area offered some good restaurant choices, there were coffee shops and a convenience store on the same street. Nice if you forgot something or wanted a quick food option.

Valet parking was the only option and it was expensive. Additional cost we were not prepared for. Food was not offered it was alacart and not convenient for a hotel this size. Location was cumbersome and hard to get to so someone could take your car.

The front desk, bell, and cleaning staff were extremely courteous and professional. As a result of flooding in the hotel, there were lots of contracted hardhats walking around. They weren't staff but were brought in by Marriott to quickly fix the pipes that burst. The Marriott also had dehumidifiers all over the place, including placing one in my room for a few hours. As a result of the flooding, on Friday I got in some unexpected cardio by walking up and down the stairs. From the street to the seventh floor was 100 steps. It was a good way to work off the burger and fried from the Five Guys restaurant across the street. There was also a 7-11 next door to the hotel entrance, making it easy for me to get affordable bottled water (two bottles for $3.50) and some snacks. Lots of restaurants within walking distance and there is a bike/jogging path steps from the hotel.

There was flooding at the hotel sometime on Friday, perhaps late Friday morning or early Friday afternoon. When I got to the hotel around 5:30 PM on Friday, I was told the elevator was out. One of the bell staff walked with up the steps to the check-in area. It had a mobile hospital feel to it; things were a bit chaotic. I am not sure as to why I did not receive a text or an email from the Marriott indicating that the hotel was flooded. It would have been nice for the Marriott to offer to move folks' reservations to other nearby hotels or hotels that were near Metro stops, but instead the Marriott folks opted to keep the hotel open, despite the flooding. In room 728 itself, the bathroom since drained slowly. The desk where I put my laptop and phones was a bit worn.
