Great stay in Kona with an amazing view of the ocean. Will definately stay again.

Customer Service was great. The overall location was amazing and the condition of the condo property and condo were great.

We had a weird smell in the condo and had to use an air fresher to mask the smell but the condo management company did a great job of handling the situation.

Very beautiful apartment overlooking the beach from the balcony. The beach was very close to the apartment. The indoor laundry was amazing and worked properly.The bedroom had ac which worked properly. The kitchen is packed nicely (pots and pans only) not any spices. The ac worked perfectly in the living room.

The biggest disappointment was the internet. It didn’t work at all. We couldn’t even load emails. This is how bad the internet was. We had to buy mobile data for the week. The pictures shown in booking.com is not the apartment we got. The company had multiple apartments in the compound. The bedroom windows didn’t close. It was loud when people were walking by and cars driving in the morning.

Cockroaches...mold... Great location and even better view but the unit is not well maintained

Location was great. The ocean front view and ocean crashing was amazing. Apartment complex itself had outdoor grills by the pool that we took advantage of.

We found 14 cockroaches in 5-day stay. In the bathroom and kitchen mainly. We made sure to throw out the food trash everyday but this was concerning. We also found mold-looking thing in the hallway closet. Looks like no one had opened the closet in a while. The unit itself is not well maintained. The handle was coming off of the microwave.

Beatiful place at the ocean.

Hi, all in all the appartment the view and everything was perfect also very easy to get in the appartment with the code. But the day before we checked in the hotel gave me a hard time because of my service dog and this was not ok. They stressed me the whole day about it even I let them know I bring my device dog 3 weeks or more in advance. And then out of a sudden I don’t receive a message back and I came to big island with a usury feeling if we are welcome at the resort or not. This was not ok everything else was very good!

We could sit out on the balcony and watched the ocean all day and night. Very close to everything like shops and restaurants. Very comfortable and great bang for your buck.

Next to the Honl beach, but alot of rocks 🪨 on the sand. Can get injure.

Room size smaller, not open floor plan and kind of tight walking around inside apartment. Bedroom closet doors are blocking walkway when opened. laundry closet doors poped out to hallway due to laundry and water heater installed inside closet. Bathroom wall has some hole and bad patched up. The Honl beach has alot of dead lava rocks. My daughter got scratched on the leg and bleeding by those rock just playing on the sand when the wave moving in. Small wall AC unit only cool a little bit in living room not bedroom.

Our experience at this property - this unit in particular - far exceeded our expectations!

The location - ocean front - was beautiful. The unit was spacious and well appointed. The pool and bbq area was very enjoyable.

More parking stalls would have been appreciated.

Highly disappointing and gross.

I liked the location near town.

Weird smell. Walked on floor with bare feet and my feet were filthy with dirt from floor. Place looks run-down and very uninviting with low-rate decor and lack of care. Stayed in a different condo in the same building a few nights before and the difference was night and day. The other unit was very clean, updated and well- maintained. You could tell the property owners really care about their guests as the amenities were high quality and went above and beyond. They provided ample beach towels, lots of snorkel gear, beach chairs and a beach umbrella. In this unit, we had to look for things. We found one pool noodle and a couple of towels. The tv was ridiculously small with weird light fixture beside it.The coffee was low rent brand and was in original store container. Who knows how long it had been out or how others may have contaminated it. The first night we arrived, we had people right in front of our balcony barbecuing, playing music and being loud in the park. We at first thought they were homeless people. Fortunately, they weren’t and left after a couple of hours. The whole place needs a complete update and clean. We felt the owners could not care less about their guest’s comfort. Do not spend your hard-earned money on this rental.

the bed was really broken down and needs replacement the slate on the lanai is dirty and tracks into the condo. it was a constant battle to keep it clean. the main toilet had not been cleaned and had urine on the underside of the seat. neither one of the hairdryers worked

The location is great!

The location for Kona is great! You can walk downtown and eat. You are right next to a small Sandy Beach where you can lay out. We love staying at this location. This was our third stay there. The room we were in this stay was renovated nicely.

It is a little bit pricey as it is a modest condo development.

Awesome beach front location

Condo was facing the nearby beach and the ocean, literally steps to the water. Also, condo is about 10 minutes leasurely walk to town's restaurants and bars.

Check-in instructions were confusing, was not clear where to pick up the keys (our flight got in late). Wasn't able to reach the host via phone/email. In the end, there is a phone right outside the office that someone picks up right away, so we were able to get the combination to lock box with no problems. Only wish that this was made clear during the booking process.

Disappointed but made it work

The location is why you stay here. It's impossible to get any help from Castle unless you had to get ahold of them to pay. Our plane was delayed and I tried to call but no one answered. It took awhile to get ahold of someone to give us the code to get in. There are no toiletries unless you're only staying one night. We were here 11 nights and had to go buy soap and shampoo. The television wasn't working and we had to grab a guy from another company to help us. The dryer is broken but I didn't find that out until I washed towels and bedding. I wasn't expecting anything fancy but I would of liked someone to actually do what they said instead of ignoring several calls and texts. The unit needs some repairs and some things replaced. I won't book anything that's run by Castle in the future.

The condo is in pretty bad shape . The dryer does not work . We had to hang dry our clothes during our stay . The balcony doors are really old and the lock is not working well . We almost got locked from outside balcony☹️ , luckily my son was inside and he opened for us to get back in the room. The towels looked old and turned color even though were washed . It needed new clean set bath towels . The shower makes loud noises each time we turn on the shower . The closet door are old and rusty ☹️, the furniture are old but usable . This condo needs upgraded or should be remodel badly .

Stunning location! We had a garden view room, yet we still had an amazing view of the ocean. The pool was great, everything was clean and quiet. It was wonderful!

The only thing that was a downfall was that there was no room service during the stay, due to COVID.

Check in process is a nightmare. Please make sure the property had our email when we book through you!!! I never received my check in instructions and waited 3 hours for someone to answer the phone!!! Sliding glass door, one side didn’t open. Screen doors need maintenance/ oil. Patio furniture needs replacing. WiFi sucks. Lamp was broken, I went to turn on the switch and it (bulb socket and shade) fell apart. only two beach towels. Bathroom /shower towels need replacement STAT. They are old, stained white towels. Not good for the price we paid, all of the above.

Great location, right near town. The pool area is wonderful with nice chairs. Great view from D1! Love that the room comes with beach chairs and whatnot. Have stayed many times and will stay again!
