    The hotel is old and rundown, it should state motel not hotel. The staff was less than friendly as well, almost as though we were bothering the front desk person when we checked in and another occasion when we asked for extra towels. The towels were super dingy. One towel was white and the other was super old and just gross looking: Hotel needs major work. Also they were doing work on the roof on Sunday morning which prevented us from sleeping. We had three other friends who stayed too and they had the same feedback. Truly disappointed.

    This hotel provided a great proximity to the bayfront, restaurants, & recreation options. Good value for your money.

    Low cost is attractive, however is not offset by NO WORKING FIRE/SMOKE detector in room or in walkway outside room. When noticed, I asked desk staff who responded "they've been working on them for weeks". Many barking dogs all hours day and night made for not restful room night experience.
