Loved the location and the sense of whimsy you feel staying here.. the rooftop was my favorite late night escape for a night cap by the fire.

The rooms were a little outdated and the hotel could use some upgrades. The addition of a spa would really make this place the perfect West Hollywood sanctuary for a little debauchery and relaxation.

Poor Service, won't be staying again

I found the service to be poor with prices very high, I was asked to pay $100 extra just for a late checkout (for only 1 extra hour). Additionally I was asked to pay an extra $200/night just to ensure that I hadn’t done anything to the room, this was never mentioned in booking.com and it’s the first time I have been asked to do this anywhere I have stayed.

Location

Rude staff. Charged $500 room smoking fee even though I am a non smoking doctor. Pool area was riddled with drug use and a man spending the afternoon in the pool in his dirty underwear. Tons of smoking cigarettes, vapes and weed on the rooftop pool. Very poor service leading to us giving up our booked pool beds and going elsewhere. Worst hotel experience I have had ever.

**Longtime Guest - Avoid This Hotel During Event Weekends** I've been staying at this hotel for years and always loved its unique atmosphere, but my recent weekend stay was absolutely terrible. I came with my wife and her parents expecting the usual quality experience, but instead encountered a nightmare scenario. The hotel has apparently become a destination for post-Burning Man crowds, turning the entire property into a chaotic party scene. The pool area was overrun with loud, vulgar, drug-addicted guests who made it completely unusable for families. Music blasted until 6:30 AM, making sleep impossible. Service was abysmal - waited over an hour on the rooftop just to place a food order, only to be told the waitress was too backed up to help us. Tonight we waited 15 minutes for elevator access at midnight because of their rooftop concert, while the party crowd got priority treatment over paying hotel guests. The worst part? None of this was disclosed during booking. We're paying customers who were treated like unwanted partygoers rather than hotel guests. Had we known about these conditions, we absolutely would have booked elsewhere. After years of loyalty to this property, I will never return. The management has clearly decided to prioritize event revenue over guest experience. Save your money and book somewhere that actually cares about providing basic hospitality. If you're looking for a peaceful hotel stay with your family, look elsewhere. This place is now a party destination masquerading as a hotel. Would not recommend.

Amazing!!!! Would love to visit again in the near future!

The resort roof access was exceptional and the food was absolutely delicious!

The cleaning crew staff entered my room without knocking and attempted to charge me $200 for towels and two pillow cases I documented my stay and how I left the room. While there was dirt on white towels and evidence of me sleeping in the bed under no circumstances did I damage towels which are white as a standard by hotels which are power washed with bleach to return dirty towels back to their original white color. I believe the hotel cleaning staff attempted to falsely report damage to the bath towels based on the fact that I asked the cleaning manager to speak to his staff about entering rooms without knocking or announcing themselves. This was unfortunate and unacceptable for them to do when I explained that other than that they did a great job it’s just they must know to knock or announce themselves before entering as that brings about unnecessary liability for the hotel. The manager agreed and the girls on staff must have gotten angered about it instead of learning a valuable lesson in valuing and protecting their hotel patrons. The rest of the management staff was wonderful to work with and they quickly removed the unjustified charge to which I am very grateful! Wonderful establishment and very fair to all patrons regardless of race, age, gender etc - Wonderful experience overall.

Carpets were dirty, couches also, it seems that they never sanitize the carpets. It looks very very dirty. Reception told me I only had a room when I booked 2. Then at 9.30 pm when we were all sleeping they called to say I had a second bedroom. I need my refund on that. This place is expensive for what it is. Not for families. Pool is too less after 12.

For the sleep averse - A place to party all night long

We liked the style and size of our suite. The bedding and comfort of the bed were also very good. The valet staff were excellent. And the hotel staff and waiters were all really positive and welcoming.

The ambience is as you would expect slightly bohemian. Parties held on the roof terrace both Friday and Saturday night made it very busy. We reserved a pool bed and a customers dog was jumping all over the beds for the afternoon, which got tiring after the initial laughs wore off. The dog then began humping the hotel towels and fur blankets. The owner was too high to really care and the staff did not seem to intervene at any point. The dog eventually ejaculated over one of the fur blankets at which point we promptly headed back to our room. On the Saturday night the roof terrace party continued into the early hours and some guests in the room next to ours managed to play music and open and close their door every ten minutes till 6am in the morning. Which was not good. We mentioned this on check out the next morning and the receptionist just said "ah, the freaks come out to play, just ask to move rooms next time...." which summed the place up to be fair. A bit of decadence and fun is to be expected at a destination like this, but ALL guests in hotels need to be able to sleep and feel welcome. This place only seemed to accommodate those Hollywood "Freaks". I make no judgement on those people they are more than entitled to do as they wish, in hindsight this was not the right hotel for my wife and I to relax and chill for a weekend in LA.

Staff pushing to pay for everything, didn’t feel welcome, goal seemed to maximize daily revenu. checkin one hour early: pay, checkout time as advertised by hotel room information? pay! coffee with the included breakfast (which was only provided after multiple checks, not mentioned by staff, really needed to push for that, reluctantly): drinks not included with breakfast. they didn’t ask to pay for luggage storage; but I wouldn’t have been surprised. rooms filled with lots (really a lot) refreshments. but no pricelist anywhere. maybe it’s common for WeHo hotels, but didn’t feel welcome.

The kitschen fan went on one floor above my room and did not stop until I called the Hôtel at 12:30 in the morning to tell them I was unable to sleep and had a very early morning wake up call at 5:00am! They sent someone up to turné of that very annoying fan! The room cost me $733 and I was only able to sleep for three hours! Very disappointing although I loved the concept of the hotel and would like to go back again! Joan Estes

Hidden Gem in Weho.

Great location, friendly staff. Close to Weho, public transport to both downtown LA or Santa Monica, plenty of restaurants close bye. Beautiful rooftop pool and bar, with sweeping views of the surrounding area. Property in our opinion would be more suitable to adults rather than family groups. Shower has the best water pressure.
