Such lovely few days by the pool, at the bar and exploring around. Hotel felt so relaxed and easy.
Staff were great, friendly and extremely helpful.
Sink in the room (as opposed to inside the bathroom) was a bit strange.
Lacked full length mirror.

The location, the bed is perfect.
The volume of the DJ set at the swimming pool.
10$ for parking (it was free back in the day days).
The food of King’s Highway has become terrible but the prices skyrocketed.

All of the food was amazing and walkable to some nice restaurants and shops. The hotel was very nice and the pool was fun!
The floors and rugs were dirty, our feet were pretty dirty walking around the room.

Staff was nice
Just as we arrived, we found out the Ace Palm Spring was acquired by a new group. Been going to the Ace for 15 years ... and now price + costs of food / drinks are out of control !! Shocking !! They add a 5% surcharge to everything without us knowing what it's for. A cocktail at 23$!! - ends up costing you 30$+ .... with 5% surcharge / Taxes and Tips. Not worth it !! Also parking is now 10$ as it was free before. New management makes you feel like you are getting ripped off !!

The aesthetic and design is great.
• I paid for a premium room with a fireplace, but my room was not ready until 90+ minutes after check-in time. While I received drink tickets and food credit, I already had plans that didn't allow me to utilize these 'compensations.' The staff were great and trying their best to be accommodating, but it's clear that this hotel is either poorly managed or they are aggressively short staffed.
• They offer a breakfast coffee service where you place an order the night before and the restaurants delivers it at a specified time in the morning. This never happened. Myself and other guests placed our orders and never received anything or a notice that it wasn't coming.
• The restaurant was understaffed.
• Everything was a long wait.

The vibe and the amenities
My ac didn’t work well, the toilet paper holder was coming off the wall. The bed is too low.

The garden room was such a nice spot to relax in private.
The beds are much too low for older guests. I had to help my husband several times. Bathroom is very small and cramped.

Location, mid century design
Bathrooms are in deep need of ventilation, smells moldy. Sheets also smelled moldy.

Stylish and fun atmosphere. Awesome place to feel the sunset and moonrise over the mountains nearby while swimming in the giant, interesting pools and big hot tub, listening to the live DJ.
Food seemed overpriced at restaurants, even the coffee.

Location, staff, the pool area, the friendly relaxed atmosphere
The cost of the food ! $12 for a plane croissant ... $20+ for avocado toasts ... ouch!

It’s a lovely place, love the fireplace situation.
It feels dated, rooms definitely need an upgrade. And bathrobes should be 2 of the same. 1 of them was like wearing a sleeping bag, impossible to try on.
The interior was cool 10 years ago.
First day there was a crazy pool party with hysterical music playing super loud we couldn’t relax at all by the pool. They should have 2 different pool areas with different vibes for all kinds of desires. We knew this was a “party” hotel so not surprised, but would consider the levels of the sound. Expensive for what it is.

Bed was comfortable. Pool area was nice, and off-weekends very pleasant. Garden patio space was great.
No coffee in the rooms. No free coffee in lobby. No storage space in the rooms. Very loud music until 2am outside of room for private party. Pool DJ was painfully loud.

The room was awesome -- hip, cool, and comfortable. The staff were all amazing!
The restaurant is very expensive. Espressos are very expensive and add up quickly.

The general property and rooms are well designed, clean and comfortable. I like the location as it's off the main strip.
Music at the pool is way too loud. I don't love the renovated bar. It used to sort of this cool, cavelike retro bar and now it's too modern and soulless. $400 was a bit much to pay for the value.

My one-night stay was ruined by significant, unauthorized food & beverage charges on my final bill. These were charges I never made, and I have the evidence to prove they were incorrect.
That's not the worst part. The worst part is the total lack of response from the hotel.
I have tried to resolve this for weeks. I have called the front desk twice and emailed the General Manager directly. I have been completely ignored. No response. No acknowledgment. No apology. Nothing.
It is unacceptable for a hotel to ignore a guest's report of incorrect charges. This is not a simple mistake; it's a complete failure of customer service and professionalism. I was forced to file a chargeback with my bank simply because this hotel refuses to even answer an email.
This was an awful, stressful experience. Stay elsewhere if you value basic customer service.

This used to be a good hotel. Its standards have dropped drastically.
-The music by the pool is SO INSANELY LOUD you cannot even think, and it goes ALL DAY LONG (something like 12 pm to 9 pm). The DJ also had terrible taste (think bad remixes of JLo type pop music and nonstop Unst Unst). They used to have cool chill music at a normal level. I used to look forward to that aspect of the hotel. Now it’s trying to be Vegas and it’s an absolute headache. When we tried to escape to our room, the rumbling of the bass was even more amplified at a distance. It was the furthest thing from relaxing.
-Sneaky Kleenex box cover in bathroom tells you not just that they won’t wash towels if you don’t ask for it, they also WON’T TIDY YOUR ROOM unless you ask. They will literally only come in your room to replenish the mini bar while leaving your bed unmade and room a total mess. How do they justify this?? The environment!?? I have never experienced this in a hotel. If I wanted an Airbnb I would stay at one. I chose to stay at a hotel. I only found this out after leaving the room for several hours and coming back to find it a mess.
-More to that point, when my husband and I ordered room service, our entire order came in a brown paper to go bag filled with cardboard takeout boxes along with plastic utensils (ala Uber Eats). Not a plate to be found. My salad in fact came in 3 mini boxes - two separate salad boxes and a third box for the chicken I added to the salad. what in the world?!?!? This was beyond trashy. When I called to ask for a plate the receptionist got in a screaming fight with me. Don’t gaslight me into thinking this is normal. room service this was NOT.

Loved the lobby, room and restaurant decor. Room was clean and in close proximity to the pool.
Doors to the rooms slam if guests don’t close the door carefully, causing us to wake up during the night as our neighbor came and went.

Apparently there is new management and I can tell! A few renovations have been made since I was last there and I think it looks great. Wasn't a fan of having to purchase chairs and daybeds when you are staying there, but I guess that is standard at fancier hotels. The free ones were in the sun and my husband can't be in the sun for too long (bummer). However, the young lady Viviana who was our server was so sweet and nice and provided such great customer service that at that point I didn't mind paying for the chairs anymore lol. She recommended drinks and was so attentive.
As for the check-in, Marty assisted us. He was really friendly too and took the time to show my husband some merch.
The new Amigo Room is really nice and well done. I wish I would have spent more time in there.
The hotel pool had a good DJ playing good tunes that weren't basic or too loud. That was def a plus.
The room we got had a patio and close to the pool, so that was nice. The bed was so comfty and cozy. I love the room decor.
Always a pleasure and will be back obv.
That I didn't stay longer lol

Really well designed, clean rooms, with comfy beds and great AC. The pool was so nice and the hot tub was amazing.

I liked the location
The property was a little old looking, lots of kids, I got charged for food at the pool that wasn’t me and they refused to give me a refund. Rooms and showers were tiny and looked like camping tent vibes inside. I expected the ace to have a bit of luxury but none was visible. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Pool is always fun, and the staff getting drinks is great! The problem was it was so crowded! It was over 100 degrees and everyone was in the pool. I don't think the hotel was very full but the pool was. I think they open it up to the public making it stuffed!
I'm not sure if The Ace was an old hotel/motel before they remodeled but the side of the hotel facing the street (the side with the king rooms, i.e., cheapest rooms) has the heaviest doors known to man! So starting when the first person on this side wakes up and leaves their room the doors start SLAMMING shut behind them. Waking you up from a deep sleep if you're not a morning person. And they don't stop as people get up to grab coffee, breakfast or head to the pool. Starting at probably 6:45 am and not stopping until I finally decided to get up at 8:30 no more than 5 doors slammed, waking me up every time.

Room was so dirty. When we got to the room there were maggots in the bathroom and by the front door. We had to go to the front desk and they moved us and gave us $75 credit. I felt like that wasn’t enough and it was hard to feel relaxed after that

Will always be a beautiful property and location.
Extremely disappointed with my recent stay at the Ace Hotel Palm Springs. From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff was rude and dismissive. I was handed a key holder with the wrong name, and when I asked about it later, I was told they “sometimes write random names”—completely unprofessional. There was no manager available when I tried to file a complaint, the Wi-Fi didn’t work, and shockingly, a staff member entered our room while we were at the pool because their system showed it as “unoccupied.” I’ve stayed here before and recommended it to many, but after this experience, I won’t be returning or suggesting it to others. For $600 over two nights, this level of service and security is unacceptable.

Pool, restaurant, location, parking
Rooms missing amenities, we had 3 rooms and each had different items in minibar, for use i.e pool bag etc.
Rooms rundown since last stay.

Beware the Ace Hotel. I came for one night with my sister who is pregnant and thought it was convenient that the check out is contactless until I realized what a scam they’ve been running. I was charged random charges over 500$ and when I called to understand why, I was told they detected smoking in the room. When I told them that’s impossible since my sister is pregnant and there’s no way there would be any smoke near her, I was told that the only way to fix it was to speak to the manager. I then go online to check some reviews and I found at least 5 other reviews of people claiming the same thing!!! I started calling the properly to ask for the manager, and front desk kept changing their story from first the manager is coming later, then tomorrow, then getting transferred to other people. When I called the last time, the front desk girl admitted that she gets all these complaints and there’s nothing she can do. The Ace Hotel is overcharging their customers random smoking fees cause apparently they have a crazy sensitive smoke detector (yeah right!!) and when their clients complain, no one addresses their concerns or calls them back or does anything about it! Go check the Google reviews.
Sweet staff but their administration is running a scam.

Fantastic hotel! Loved the comfortable bed, and the patio. Pool area with DJ was awesome! Our 18 year old daughters had the best time! Location is great, close to everything in Palm Springs.
Fireplace wasn't working, so make sure they double check that if you want the room with patio and fireplace.

Loved the room and how cold the ac was and they upgraded us to a suite which was nice
There was a private event that excluded us from using the pool where the dj was which was one of the main factors of us booking this hotel so we had to pay to enter that event or use the other pool that didn’t have a dj.

The pool was full, not seated available and the staff still letting people from outside to enter
I was very disappointed

It’s a great vibe, cool spot and has great aesthetics in common areas
The rooms are very poor quality overall especially during peak season pricing. The “tent” walls in bedrooms means it never feels clean and bedroom doors do not fit their frames (in 3 rooms we have stayed in) meaning you hear and smell everything from neighbours. Water pressure in bathrooms compared to other hotels in the area is very poor.

The kids pool was closed so pool was full of toddlers and small children, so pool got cloudy and didn’t feel clean toddlers in the hot tub even though it says clearly that young toddlers not permitted , tub wasn’t it clean / cloudy and weird white substance floating in it
So we avoided it rest of trip
Pool availability, too crowded, too many small kids
And toddlers in the hot tub ,
Pool gets cloudy
