The location was good. Not on the beach but very walkable. Lots of food/coffee/shopping options close by.
The staff who checked us in could care less. The staff who checked us out was really nice. Some training on consistency and customer service would be good. (Like try smiling at your guest while they check in).
The room was clean. But very outdated and worn.
It is run down and beaten up. Some of the units are owner operated and it shows. Lockboxes in the rundown halls add an air of trashyness. Owners need to cough up some money for a complete refresh of the public areas.
And who thinks a massage parlor in the lobby is a good idea. A spa sure, but a massage parlor and a dive bar really lower the tone.
