Great place near downtown!

The staff were amazing! Super helpful and friendly throughout my stay.

I stayed on Friday night; my next door neighbors went out partying, then came back around 2am. They were very loud and obviously drunk. It was Fri in LA - I'm glad they had a good time - but they were awfully noisy. Not the hotel's fault, although the guests might have been encouraged to keep it down a bit.

This is a trendy little Asian-themed hotel in the heart of Chinatown, with a quick connect to downtown and Little Tokyo.

The room was huge and had a nice view of the mountains and a wonderful rain shower.

When we arrived the elevator wasn’t working and our room was on the third floor.

The room was extremely clean and spacious! Additionally, the staff are extremely friendly and this hotel is in a very central part of town. They even gave us free breakfast! 10/10 will definitely be back at Aiden Los Angeles Downtown Dragon Gate Inn.

The cleaning staff were very prompt when knocking on our door at 11:01 AM...which was great but we weren't quite done packing our stuff to head out.

The beds were comfy but i think they're a little bid more on the high end compared to what they have to offer.

The elevators were not working so we had to carry our luggages and it's very slippery outside. We went during the rainy season. The building seems to be poorly maintained.

I highly recommend this hotel for Location and price.

This was a very last-minute booking. The price is amazing. It was only a $10 Uber ride from Amtrak Union Station. The room was very large. Very clean. very quiet. They offer free breakfast. Walking into the facility, you walk-through an open air atrium. And it was a beautiful night. It was walking distance to a delicious Chinese restaurant. I felt very safe. This is in Chinatown.

The elevator was broken. My room was on the second floor. But a very nice gentleman carried My three heavy bags upstairs. A second nice gentleman came up the morning. I was leaving to bring down my suitcases.

If the elevator was in working order and breakfast was better, we would stay again.

The staff was friendly.

We were given a room on the 3rd floor, but the elevator was broken, so we had to haul our luggage up. At 3 am, there was LOUD BANGING on the door next to ours. It continued for 15-20 min. We were terrified. When we called, the lady was a bit agitated, saying that she was aware and was handling it. Breakfast was mediocre. The pancakes tasted like rubber.

Fantastic location for Dodger games; walking distance to/from U ion Station and metro. Clean, comfortable beds, and very roomy…nice decor too. Super friendly staff; enjoyed the breakfast…especially the coffee. Neighborhood felt safe.

The room was great, super clean and quite big. The staff was awesome: very friendly and kind. The breakfast was good and well organized. I didn’t use it, but the gym looked great!

Our second night was very, very uncomfortable. People above us were walking all over their room, and somehow, we could hear every step. The staff managed the situation, but it was still very unpleasant that you can hear footsteps from the rooms above. Also, the location felt a bit unsafe. We walked around the area, and it didn’t feel very comfortable.

Large clean room convenient location

I stayed here overnight before catching my flight from LAX. The location was very convenient from the LA Central station and the neighborhood was also not too bad. There are many nice Chinese restaurants to choose from nearby. The room was very large and clean.

Costs less for a reason

Staff was friendly within their capacity

I asked for an extra blanket (blankets on the bed are very thin), front desk couldn't get more than one blanket. There was also a single staff member, and they were tied up on the phone and couldn't assist me as I waited in person for them for over 20 minutes. Also very loud at night from traffic.
