Rough day

This used to be a great place to stay

When we checked in the ac was out and of course it was a hot day The water was turned off for moments The following day the electricity was out all day and our room was never cleaned I’m sure it was unforeseen events but made for a rough day and night we left early and cut our vacation short due to these circumstances

No A/C and the front desk only said the owners have not given them a time line on when it would fixed. Also, this is the 2nd time I've booked here and the TV did not work?! They said it had to do with inclimate weather? It was August 30-Sept 1st 2025 blue skies every day...HOT actually which is why no A/c was horrible

Nothing. It seems the owners and staff have forgotten what hospitality is. Or perhaps they never knew.

There was no AC and they knew it. They purposely tried to sham us about the AC. Although they had tiny signs in out of the way locations, no mention was made at the front desk at check-in. This was a feature we searched on your site. The front desk even pretended to send a "team" to check it out when they knew they were not working. Had to leave because it was hot in the room and ended up driving home.

We were really looking forward to this trip for my birthday and my grand daughters birthday but the accommodations made

Location to all the activities we wanted to do

The air conditioning was out in the entire building. It was very uncomfortable. They did supply us with a fan but it did little to cool the room. There was no hot water. It was room temperature at the very least. Due to a fire on the mountain, the power was shut off from midnight till noon on the day after our arrival. The restaurant attached to the hotel was closed because there were only 2 other rooms occupied in the whole hotel. They said they would give us a discount rate but we had to notify Booking.com. How do I report this?

When you walked into the front entrance it was like you were walking into a funeral parlor 😳 all these fake flowers , had not been changed in a while ? Hanging baskets, one had fake flowers and the other one this orange monkey ? Not sure who does their decorating but they like fake artificial flowers . No elevator to the bottom floor you had to go down steps with your heavy luggage? The pool of course was not working or jacuzzi 😢 I had requested a patio room, first attempt a view of the dumpster , I went back to ask for a patio room , she said something like I win a lady with dark hair the other older lady was really nice . Anyway she gave us a patio room okay you open the sliding glass doors and there was a wall😣 if it was busy I totally understand but it was not maybe twenty cars in the parking lot . I even offered to pay more for an upgrade as you really never know what you are getting ? Maybe because I booked it thru another party ? The handicap elevator was out of order nothing was working . They had shut off the heat ?

It wasn't very far from the lake.

The hotel has a bad smell. Some areas of the hotel smell really bad, like sewage, and we got headaches. Even our room was the same, and whenever we flush the toilet, we smell the sewage. Additionally, the staff did not provide us with an extra blanket after we had asked twice.

They had big inappropriate blow up balloons of penis all around the pool area and pictures of men in speedo in the pool. Very unacceptable for a family resort.

It was awesome! I will stay there again, definitely.

I did not purchase the breakfast so I cannot speak of it. My room was on the ground floor very close to the pool, and it was large roomy brighten the daytime dark in the nighttime. It was just perfect. The cleaning staff was incredible, I told him not to change the beds, just swap out dirty, clean towels, and they did exactly what I asked. Even gave me a few extra towels.

That breakfast was an extra charge.

Dated hotel with large rooms in great location

Excellent location next to village. Large room with gas fireplace and comfortable chair and ottoman. Outdoor hot tub looked inviting (did not use).

Hard mattress. Dated bathroom. Adequate number of outlets but hard to find one that phone charger plug stayed in. Room was too warm even with thermostat turned off. Hallway was close to 80F.
