Great water park. Excellent staff. Food decent. Great hiking trails adjacent- Pima Canyon Loop trail, etc.
You are a captive audience here if you don’t have a car. The food is very expensive, cocktails are $25. The little store offers no food besides Starbucks coffee and a small amount of pastries. This forces you to buy their bottles of wine from the bar for $75-200, and no chance of grab and go food, only sit down and expensive. They look like a high end resort, but provide no microwave in the room, paper coffee cups and water cups, powdered generic creamer and low end coffee, all for $400/night at the cheapest rate. Our kids had a suite with a full kitchen, but no pots and pans - guess why? The resort is isolated, in a huge complex, it was a half mile to the water park from our room. Lots of stairs. They have golf carts, but hard to get one.
