    This hotel is a hidden gem. The staff were incredible, they always tried to go above what was requested of them. The grounds were clean and well kept. I would book here again without hesitation.

    I had prepaid my stay for three nights at this hotel. My stay was guaranteed and confirmed. However i wasn’t allowed to check in because i wasn’t carrying a credit card. They asked for a physical credit card for preauthorisation for incidental charges. Unfortunately, i wasn’t carrying my card as i thought the hotel room was prepaid and i wouldn’t need it. They demanded i present my card physically otherwise they wouldn’t allow me to check in. I even offered if i could pay the deposit in cash to which the staff at the checkin counter totally refused. I tried explaining to him that the room is already paid for so he can not deny me checking in. He wasn’t cooperating at all. I stayed at another Hilton Property a day before in LA and they accepted a $100 Deposit which was refundable at checkout. This person asked me to leave the hotel. And not just that even called the cops. I kept requesting him to think of a way which could help both of us but he just wouldn’t listen and was extremely rude. The cops arrived and i told them what the issue was. They listened to both our sides. And eventually explained that the hotel can not deny checkin to me as the payment was already made. And they even suggested we think of a way which could help sort this out amicably . The staff still wouldn’t listen. I had to call help from someone who lived in phoenix downtown and whom i met on my flight from LA a few hours ago. This kind person drove all the way from downtown to help me and offered to present his own credit card. After which i finally was allowed to access the room i already had paid for. After 4hours of unnecessary inconvenience. Funny how someone whom i met on a 1.5hour flight could be so trusting and helpful than a hotel whom already guaranteed a prepaid room. Made a mockery of hospitality. It could have been avoided and was totally unnecessary.
