I loved the property of a somewhat boutique hotel setting with beautiful views of the ocean and landscaping. Pool was extremely small for several quests and no umbrellas to get away from the sun, but very nice.
I totally understand the concept of a quiet hotel and what they are trying to accomplish, but NO TVs in the rooms with Hurricane Fausto getting close to the Hawaiian Islands I didn't want to have to go sit in a conference room to watch news. I didn't read the fine print. I want a TV and a sound cube in my room for music and to be comfortable with my stay. Proximity to the best beach in Maui is awesome and easy access to rooms is great. Would I stay again??? I don't just know.

Right on the beach!
Room did not have the items expected for that price: no bathroom amenities, coffee pot (but no coffee), etc. For the price it was a disappointment. Also one of us got food poisoning from the restaurant on site.
