La Quinta by Wyndham Philadelphia Airport

We gave this place at 10 out of 10 knowing very well that you are booking A Quinta airport hotel. It’s very rundown But so many little things make the score higher. Shonardo at the front desk and the previous gentleman (the previous night) were so helpful. Really accommodating us with the breakfast and with printing our luggage tags. The shuttle service works really efficient and is free.

Where to start. The doors are all banged up and the smell in the room of marijuana and other smoke is everywhere. The neighbors were incredibly loud from the adjacent rooms and nevertheless, we still were able to sleep well. The smart TV kept on having other people‘s phones. Try to connect to it for over half an hour. Quite frustrating, especially for John who was trying to connect. Haha the location is not the prettiest but very understandable for an airport hotel. Again, it’s scored really high because it checked off all the boxes that we needed for one night from the airport. Even though our unit was renovated, you can see it’s like lipstick on a pig.

Breakfast was really bad, but beyond that the hotel had a very cozy atmosphere. Was located near where we were most of vacation which made travel easier.

There was an oder the entire time we were there that didn't seem to go away, it just transformed. At first it smelled like wet carpet. Great beds though.

Staff were very nice. Room was mainly clean. We didn't run into any issues with our room or anything that we needed.

Hotel is in need of updates. Some parts of the room were a bit rough. VERY large potholes in the road to the hotel. If I hadn't been warned, it could have been bad for my car.

Convenient, easily accessible!

Mold in initial room, tv/remote didn’t work at all. Had to move to a different room on the 2nd floor. As soon as you step off the elevator you could smell marijuana throughout the hallway & my room!
