The place has been upgraded and it is very clean and comfortable. The young man at the front desk was very friendly.

Easy to find, polite friendly staff. If I was staying longer I would definitely appreciate the fact that my suite had everything I would need in order to make myself my own meals after running across the street to the grocery store to grab the ingredients to make it with! Kudos to the owners for trying their best with the decor, and updated repairs.

I didn’t like the fact that I could not lock the door from the inside of my suite. No deadbolt, not even a chain. I can understand that it’s probably mostly men that are staying there for work but as a single women a little extra security would have been appreciated. I used the chair under the doorknob trick for my own added security,not sure it would have worked but my mind was more at ease.

Large rooms with kitchenette (fridge, stove), good location across from grocery and liquor store as well as restaurants within walking distance. Very friendly hosts. Very clean and comfortable beds.

My score is lower as the room I had on this visit, #11, was very noisy from road traffic until midnight and then started again around 5:30. Also could hear people walking around. The bathroom window didn't lock and all the room doors are key locks only. No chains or deadbolts which is a security issue especially for a woman travelling alone. I put a chair under the door knob and a block on the bathroom window to feel safer. The room was also very hot and there was no air conditioner. When I stayed another night and had a different room, I did get an air conditioner.
