The property is a motel style property, with direct access to the rooms. Front desk staff were helpful. We was able to use the shuttle service on one occasion as was fully booked but was somewhat helpful the day that we was able to take it to Disney magic Kingdom for $20 extra as the shuttle only goes to Disney Springs. My kids loved the pool area plenty of kids their age to play with. Room door what’s secure and immediately let you know if the door was not locked properly the rooms were clean. I was worried due to reading the reviews prior but the beds were clean and comfortable. Towels were replaced on request as well as shampoo conditioner shower gel also replaced on request. Yes, the breakfast is basic but it does the job we had boiled eggs and toast. There was yoghurt some fruit two options of cereal, coffee and juice and did the job for my family as we love boiled eggs. I was adequate for us. The staff were welcoming.
So the property is old it’s in need of general refurbishment and updating only one out of the three slides worked which was a bit of a disappointment for the children but as mentioned there was a pool area and they still had fun. During the week it was easy to get sun lounges however at the weekend the resort is open to local so does get busier.
Although the rooms were initially clean they were not serviced every every three days as outlined in their policy. And even after I asked for the room to be cleaned it wasn’t actually cleaned until the day after following me raising it at the front desk. Hotel is in a different town just outside of Orlando and is 30 to 40 minutes away from everything so unless you hire a car, you pay a fortune on Uber and taxi services. There is also not much to do nearby and we had to take takeout because judging from the breakfast I didn’t want to order food from the hotel so we ordered dinner to the hotel for most nights for the price that you pay for the room I will not complain because you get what you pay for and for our family it did the job I believe just a few tweaks are needed.
