Location on a lively street with cafes, shops, trees! Rue St. Jean closed off on weekends for pedestrians- only. In an historic mercantile building, all accommo- nations upstairs, with a common room and dinng areas decorated in early-1900's furnishings. Our unit was like a small apartment, with elegant kitchen and bath -- we could have moved in !
We both like to read in bed at night. Alas, one side did not have room for a bedside table ( king bed frame took up way too much space!), and neither side had a proper tall lamp with a bright light option for reading. We had to juggle lamps from other rooms to try to provide for reading -- with difficulty.

The Auberge J.A. Moisan is a lovely Bed 'n' Breakfast, filled with beautiful antiques. Donna made us feel very welcome and helpfully answered any questions we had. The breakfasts were absolutely amazing! Highly recommend!

Beautiful comfortable common areas with terrific central location.
Lots of steep stairs inside, and request that shoes be left at street level which was a bit strange when wearing sandals (no socks).
