The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and appliances, etc. The cabin is very clean, comfortable and cozy and the location is excellent for decompressing and relaxing with friends or using as a base to spend days exploring the attractions around Port Renfrew. The hot tub was especially welcome!
The sauna wasn't working particularly well.

Very good accommodation with everything we needed. Extremely clean apartment and very well located. Staff were friendly and helpful. The town is small but charming with good hikes and some decent food available. Several new seasonal restaurants seem to have opened.
The property was great - no complaints whatsoever.

The property was in a great location.
Central location.
The room was not clean, bathroom, and bedding were dirty. Let the staff know.

It was perfect for two people - well set up and very clean and comfortable. Everything you need for a couple nights or more if you bring your own food.

What a treat to have a sweet cottage getaway in the forest. We loved the privacy and quiet of the cottage and the proximity to the Renfrew Pub and trails. The cottage had everything we needed from a comfy bed, clean facilities and great coffee for breakfast.
It was all good.

It was a scenic adventure getting to Port Renfrew and our studio cabin was a warm refuge from the rain.
Our bed was very comfortable but the pillows were all very puffy with no option for a thinner alternative.

We were on a relaxing, getaway, weekend, to take in the beauty of Vancouver Island's west coast. Our cabin was a cozy space to hang out when the light rains came.
The property came with so many amenities, two saunas, 2 hot tubs, communal Barbeques. A very social atmosphere but quiet and respectful.
The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The whole community of Port Renfrew and Pacheedaht First Nation were so pleasant and friendly. We felt very welcome.
We were disappointed that our cabin (Short House) did not come with a full kitchen. This was primarily my mistake as I did not look closely when I made the reservation. I very quickly jumped on the availability of Short House as it was a last minute decision to take this getaway weekend.
I would like to point out that when reviewing the various cabins on the Wild Coast website this fact (no kitchen) and photos of the interior of Short House were not there. Upon revisiting the website I saw that all information concerning Short House was displayed during the booking process. It was my hurried action that caused me to miss this when booking. As well everything else about our cabin and stay was so great that I got over this very quickly.
We will almost certainly come and stay at Wild Coast again.

Nicely located in Port Renfrew!
We unfortunately had a power outage during our stay but the power came back later in the evening. staff was kind enough to lend us a lantern during the outage.

It seemed expensive for what you got. I didn’t like the idea of being charged $75 if I didn’t wash my own dishes.

Comfortable suite. Particularly enjoyed the hot tub and sauna in the evening.

Convenient property, comfy beds and room with lots of facilities (kitchen, table/chairs etc). Good location in Port Renfrew. All managed remotely to check in and check out.
Decor was a bit outdated. No staff available when we were there (when we looked for them)

Staff were friendly. Room was clean.
There didn't appear to be many guests but we were given a room right above the fish filleting shop overlooking the car park. There was no TV without a personal subscription.

Wild Coast Wilderness Resort definitely exceeded my expectations. The cabin we rented was very nice, spacious and had plenty of beds for my family. There were two hot tubs, one that was located in its own enclosed structure with a picnic table which was nice. The resort was also located close to the Cafe and restaurants and was easy to locate.
The carpet could use some deep cleaning and the couches are a bit worn down, however everything else was fine.

Comfortable beds, clean place, nice bathroom. The sauna and hot tub where a surprise for us and we really enjoyed them after an entire day of hiking!
Nothing, everything was perfect!

Lovely area. Nice quite clean place. Can sit outside the room.
8.0 / 10.0
The hotel was easy to find, good location, and also close to the only pub where you could eat in the evening, since the suite that we booked had hardly any kitchen things to use so we couldn't cook in it.
They also have to work on the size of the curtains on the door.

Clean, cozy, and slightly updated. A great place for two where we could prepare for the West Coast Trail and be able to lay out and pack all our gear. Conveniently located next to the Coastal Kitchen cafe, and a short walk to the Port Renfrew Pub. About a 5 min drive from the Pacheedaht Campground/parking area where we caught the WCT bus north to Pachina (the bus also stops across the street from the accomodations).
Septic system smell was very strong outside.

Proximity to Botanical beach, helpful staff in the office, self service check in so not bound by any timings, comfortable beds and suite was fully functional with kitchen if staying longer oh and lovely hot water showers

Fantastic hot tubs, game room and saunas. They had two available. Across the street was a cafe and fish and chips trailer …. Around the corner nice restaurant and the pier.
Would have been nice if you could just rent fishing rods and daily licence. We could get a fishing charter durning our stay! Also rental
Of beach chairs and day cooler for the beach down the road!

Great location and fun facilities like cedar hot tub and sauna. 3 bedroom cottage had comfortable beds.
3 bed cottage had limited kitchen. No spatula for BBQ, no sink in bathroom so had to use kitchen sink, bathroom right next to mini kitchenette. Odd layout.

Being in a 2 bedroom detached cottage at the far end of the property provided peace and quiet.
The couch in the living room definitely needs to be replaced as the faux leather is badly missing and could see the layer underneath. Actually put a sheet over the main couch as a sanitary precaution. Also the love seat couch is very low.

We were only staying one night right at the end of our holiday but it was in the right location for us to enjoy Port Renfrew and surrounds. Next time we would stay longer and get a room with a view. The free hot tub was great.

We stayed in the one bedroom Cottonwood Cottage. It is spacious for two people. It was well finished and comfortable, with plenty of seating. We enjoyed the outside gas fireplace, It had a good vibe.
The large pillows on the bed look great but are too high for sleeping. The fully equipped kitchenette is a bit of an over statement- just a microwave , toaster and kettle. Fair enough, but if you are self-catering, keep it simple.

It was in a close proximity to 2 restaurants. Clean. Porch with a propane fireplace. Treed for privacy.
Lacking kitchen equipment. Asked for a cutting board, knife, large bowl. A hot plate or toaster oven would be nice since there’s no stove top. Also had to ask for another set of towels for the 3rd person.

All was great
Tv angle was tricky and we were not sure where we should plug in the toaster. Small stuff. Great place!

Barbecue stove and Sauna/hot tub
1. We submitted a request for additional pillows ahead of our arrival, which was approved. However, the request was not fulfilled, and no follow-up was provided by staff.
2. Guests are held responsible for cleaning dishes and utensils under a $75 ransom policy. Yet, we found dishes that were already stained and appeared to have been poorly washed by previous visitors, leaving us to clean them before we could use them.
3. The listing gave the false impression that we would be staying in an independent cottage. However, upon arrival, we discovered that our suite was one of the units on the second floor of a shared building, which was not clearly communicated in advance.

Centrally located for hiker groups and between the two restaurants in the hamlet- also across the street from hiker shuttle stop.

It was so clean, check in was easy. Good value, comfy bed.
Great for one night.
There was no comfy chair but as we were only there for one night it was okay. For a longer stay I would want one.

In a perfect small town, small meaning one restaurant, small cottage was secluded away from all other cottages. Newly renovated which was nice. Once able to reach the staff by phone, he or she was super helpful. Thank goodness for wifi, or wouldn’t be able to reach anyone.
Although there was a map of the property, when arriving after hours, it was hard to locate the small cottage that was across the street. Maybe a visible sign or clearer instructions could have helped. I walked around the property for 30mins trying the code in every door. I like to think I’m pretty smart lol no air head here lol
