The Scottsdale Resort & Spa, Curio Collection by Hilton

They canceled our reservation.. no email.. no call.. nothing. Showed up at check-in to find out they overbooked and simply canceled our reservation. Barely apologetic, offered to put us up in a total crap “sister hotel”. Shocking the hotel didn’t even have the respect to call or email.. nope. Let my family arrive and wait in line to be told there was no room for us. Terrible experience. We ended up staying for a night at the end of our stay when they had room. Hotel is fine. Average food. Average room that’s slightly worn down. Property is ok but nothing write home about.

Location was very good. Madames had a delightful decor and ambience, with very friendly staff on both nights that we visited there.

Long walks to our rooms and carpet smelled overly strong with freshener. Half used bottles of water and drinks were in the room when we arrived. Security latch did not work.

Beautiful property, gorgeous landscaping and decor, very relaxing. Big focus on little details. Beds were comfy. Robes and slippers in rooms.

There is no hot tub.

Pool

It was January 2 around 9:30 pm The lady at the speaking bar at the tirth floor was rude to me when I ask about la madame bar . She pretended to look there to see if there was space for me and she said no you can’t come in . After that I went to the bar downstairs where a kind gentleman who worked at that bar told me to make a reservation for La madam which I did because there was slow dat day after that I went again upstairs to the 3th floor bar, thank gad there was another lady from La madam who helped me with my reservation and let me in . When I went there the place was beautiful and surprisingly there was no people there only 2 persons.

For the price I don’t feel it’s worth it, the place his old and you can feel it and there are all types of strange smells. We paid 25 to park our own car no valet was up front left very early because I couldn’t sleep

Amenities in room could be better. Navigation around the hotel could be better
