Pretty standard roadside hotel with some nice features. Beds are great and furnishings are modern but spartan. Floors are bare sealed concrete, which is clean and OK but a bit unusual. There's a restaurant, bar, and morning/afternoon cafe, and desk staff are helpful. Wifi works fine and parking is free. Easy walk to Corktown, and very central for other parts of Detroit. I'd stay again.

The on site lounge, restaurant , and beer garden are fictional. Website and in room documents give generous hours, had to ask to be told the coffee bar is open for a few hours in the morning, most days. Not secure entry, all room doors are in pairs off recesses- going to my room meant walking by dozens of potential hiding places. Bad for solo traveller. No in room or lobby coffee- better not need any before 0630. Staff were pleasant but clueless- first room they sent me to wasn’t cleaned yet, unaware of advertised restaurant hours. Also, all night USPS depot next door.
