Great location, super close to the beach and some shops! Private location with not many on lookers. Great views from the upper level room with views of the river.

Slightly outdated, but what I expected for a motel. A lot of spiders on the outdoor patio of the room.

We did not have food at the location we stayed, though there was a coffee shop next door that was friendly and looked lovely. Also this is NOT a complaint for the motel...but in general it's impossible to find decent dining options. Also, don't trust the internet for closing times...restos seem to open and close whenever they feel like...and forget about any notion of fine dining. It's gonna be burgers and fries across the board.

The bathroom was recently redone and lovely, but the room itself was definitely dated, tired and what you would expect for a low budget motel. A few small changes, like updating the dresser would be great. Also the lighting in the bedroom was only overhead, no lamps so it was either darkness...or bright light. The carpet was bare and worn and could do with replacing. Also, it seems that it is spider season in the area, they were everywhere, including inside! We found three in our bedroom alone! So beware if you don't like spiders!
