I would stay there again. Overall a good hotel.

Friendly staff and close to the Gondola.

Toilet ran unless you were careful on the position of the handle. The vending machines are old and don’t accept anything but one dollar bills.

Fantastic- if I ever come back to Tahoe, I will for sure book it at the Bluelake Inn

The front desk workers were extremely friendly. The location was perfect. It was right next to all of the shops, and it was right next to the water as well. Room was comfortable and had everything you would need. Great experience.

If my room had an appropriate heater, I would give it a 10 and stay here again

The beds were comfortable. The room and bathroom were very nice and the location was ideal.

The room I stayed in had an old heater. Most of the rooms have a temperature control where you set the temperature, but this one only had a knob to blow the air warmer or blow the air colder so it was difficult to keep a consistent temperature.

Must stay in the Heavenly village Area

The location was amazing, we visited during winter. Two blocks to Heavenly Village and walkable to alot of great places. Front desk was friendly, room was easily accessible from parking lot, and the rooms were spacious for my family of 4.

I initially didn't like the look of the room but that was easily forgiven since it was very clean.

The staff was really friendly, it's one block away from the gondola and the Southlake Village.

The heater is not very effective and I had to turn it to 80° for it to get to like 66°. It's like a corner space heater. The bed was extremely uncomfortable

This is an older hotel, single pane windows, dated amenities. That said, it was clean, well kept, and quiet. This is an excellent location, short walk to state line, Heavenly gondola, and loads of shopping.

Felt like I was right at home.

Checking in and out was easy breezy. I love the cozy ambience it gave me and my boyfriend. Very warm and inviting. Our beds were made and our towels were washed and restocked everyday. Along with a complimentary coffee maker and fresh ice machine in the lobby.

I have no complaints, this is definitely a place I’d want to be my go to hotel stay whenever I come back. The neighborhood was quiet and everyone was friendly and accommodating.

Very convenient to downtown. Seemed clean and well kept up for the most part. The value was good for what I paid.

Fridge made an annoying and unpredictable 'thunk' every time it cycled, interrupting my sleep. Pillows were very hard, maybe that's on me as I didn't ask for replacement.

The staff was great, offered for us to park early before checking in and gave $5 coupon passes towards private beach 1/2 mile away.

Clean comfy rooms close to Heavenly Village attractions.

This inn is nothing fancy, but it’s really comfortable and clean, and the location is fantastic. We could easily walk to Heavenly Village and to dinner at Hell’s Kitchen at Harvey’s. Or walk down to the lake! There’s so much to do in this area!

No complaints! I guess it would have been nice if the pool was open.

Pleasant Place, would stay again.

Prior to check in, they were very responsive to inquiries and requests. The Staff was very friendly. Room was clean, bed comfortable. Good location for shopping, and other venues- all within walking distance.

Downside is pool wasn't open or available, and coffee creamer was that powdered stuff. Also, as this is an older hotel, it could use some updates/upgrades.

It’s a blessing in disguise that the hotel I initially booked gave us a wrong accommodation. We drove from San Francisco and was tired from the trip and activities before heading to the hotel at 6:30pm. They gave us a wrong accommodation and unable to give us rooms to stay for 2 nights. Luckily bluelake inn had some available rooms and able to accommodate us within 30min notice. My family(party of 7) couldn’t be any happier. It is located in heavenly village, that alone prompted me to give it a thumbs up. They also give their guests a voucher to go to lakeside beach park. Very pretty and a clean beach. Just walking distance from the hotel. I highly recommend this place if u want to stay in South Lake Tahoe 😊
