The location is very convenient. Their free shuttle service makes it a breeze to reach the village. There is also a chair lift directly linked to the slopes for intermediate skiers.
Rooms are outdated. They’re understaffed and staff is overwhelmed, especially during busy times such as ski week. Dining options are extremely limited if you are stuck at the resort due to weather.
2.0 / 10.0
Location is excellent, staff are trying really hard but massively understaffed.
Complete lack of investment, badly understaffed and unprepared for snow (which is bizarre given it’s a ski resort…). One restaurant or 3 was shut on Presidents day despite totally full hotel meaning 3hr wait for dinner onsite and dangerous conditions to venture offsite. Parking was totally chaotic- valet parking taking up to an hour to return cars due to snow and lack of staff/snow clearing equipment - Friday evening queued 20 mins just to put car into valet parking. Shop has bizarre selection of items - 3 freezers of ice cream, multiple types of coffee beans, gifts, chilli sauces, sugary snacks - but no hot chocolate powder, milk, bread, juice or butter… nothing to make any kind of meal from, really badly thought through. WiFi poor, phones in room broken, no access to internet TV (unlike all Marriott’s) only one Peleton in the gym which didn’t work properly, Sauna cold, cheap toiletries… it’s set up as a luxury hotel but there are just nowhere near enough staff. Resort chair poorly maintained and broke down on best snow day of the year, with shuttle to palisades packed meaning no one could get skiing till 11am

Nice views, close to ski lift, free shuttle bus to palisades every half hour, ice rink on site, front door team were very helpful loading and unloading.
Warning: very expensive hotel: Small suite cost > $900/night, plus $35 per day for parking; plus $55/day “resort fee”; $30 for skating, etc.
Despite this cost, Service quality was absolute minimum - too few staff on duty on Sunday (no one at front desk and too few servers at breakfast restaurant).

Location right at the ski lift and trail
Ski valet will give you skis every morning and take them in the evening
The hotel needs upgrades! Wallpaper is falling off the walls. The coffeemaker in the room does not work. No hooks in the room to hang up wet ski wear. The sofa bed is very uncomfortable. The "Suite with Fireplace and Forest View" is supposed to sleep 5 people, but only with a rollaway bed that is charged at $20 a night and is also very uncomfortable.
Room service was skipped one day, and we did not even get fresh towels, although we called housekeeping twice. The hot tub did not have towels one night.
The main restaurant did not have availability for us to have dinner for our whole stay (6 days).
EV charger was not available as the valet said "there is a long waiting list of cars that want to be charged".
Valet parking also was not available as they had no more space.

Amazing location, ski slopes right there, shuttle was nice, lots of amenities, food is decent, everything in one place, easy fun
5.0 / 10.0
Location is fine. Spa is pretty good.
The rink closed at 5 on Sunday..so did six peaks the restaurant. Response and room service is slow. Design is ridiculous cause it takes 6mins to walk from spa to guest room buildings and it’s freezing in winter days. Came here for skiing but palisades isn’t open yet, which makes it a bad deal to stay in this hotel. And the service team didn’t try to make the stay more comfortable at all…

Location and shops are great.
Late night noise, people talking loud and yelling down the halls well past 11pm.
Unable to locate room service options. I didn’t think it was available until a coworker said she finally figured it out just before leaving.

It was nice looking but the rooms at night were not private enough and it was loud. Lota of kids running around.
It was over crowded, staff were rushing around and the pools were not being monitored by staff and kids were all over the place with no adults to reel them in

the food. it was fine but for the amount of $$ I wish I felt better about it. room service was subpar

The location and the mountain was beautiful
It was run down. They have not put money into this resort for decades. Furniture in bad shape. Ironing board falling to pieces. Bathroom tiny and old. Carpet worn in hallway and room. Pool in need of repair. Obviously they have the location and they don’t feel the need to maintain or update and it is way overpriced. Not worth it

The resort was great for a relaxing trip with family, as it had everything on property, including pools, outdoor activities (e.g., hiking, golf), restaurant/food options, spa services and shopping. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the views were amazing.
No real complaints - the price isn't cheap, but you get your money's worth.

Magnificent views from the valley view rooms. Very conveniently located right next to the resort chair; skis can be left in the ski room overnight. A beautiful pool and hot tub area. A wellness area with separate saunas and steam baths.
more than 600 USD for a suite without meals per night is pricey. But compared to other accommodations in Squaw Valley it has extra value due to the pools, Spa, and proximity to the resort chair without any wait times.

Our family always enjoy the best family time here at this resort! The people and the property are absolutely wonderful! The facilities are top notched! And the best part is that the ski lift is right outside this resort! Would definitely come back here!

Great resort, convenient, ski in and out. Pool open until late. Really enjoyed.

First of all, excellent location! We loved how the chair lift was just outside our door lol easy access to Palisades Tahoe. I enjoyed the spa pools, love how they decorated the surrounding trees with lights too. And talk about the luxurious robes! Overall great resort with well equipped facilities!
If I were to nitpick.. The bathroom felt a little outdated, and the sink was small. I felt that the pool could have been kept a little cleaner? Saw a lot of pebbles/dust/pieces of plastic settled on the pool floor. Oh and I wished they gave us some slippers to wear with the robes! Ahh but I enjoyed my stay nonetheless.

The property is beautiful. The pool, available shopping and restaurants were great. Everything was clean and staff were very friendly. Good location to North Lake Tahoe activities.
Not at the hot tubs were working.

A Wedding took up the Whole Resort. Paid way too much to feel like my family was in the way.

Clean room , good location. Nicely kept grounds.
Reusable shampoo/conditioner/ body wash; the bottles just looked very cheap as well. For a spa resort, was expecting more. Room didn’t have iron.
Water slide pool also not available for use. Front desk staff not very friendly.

Beautiful property very convenient for skiing and snowboarding at Palisades Tahoe. It was warm enough to take advantage of the pool and spa.

The hotel offers very little value for the price we paid for, especially comparing to the Village. Room is incredibly small, bathroom is small and outdated. Beds are not comfortable. Have to pay for parking $25/day.

The property was perfectly located for skiing and had everything our family needed, from the ski lift to the pools to a perfect coffee shop.

I travel a lot so We were very surprised about the lack of ANY in room literature. I heard from the staff that all literature with the old name was dumped, but that should not have happened until new literature was ready. There was No property map, no room service menu, no Emergency Escape Plan on the door, (isn’t that a law to have this plan?) no notice about housekeeping issues and came back to an unclean room. No shuttle information, etc! The TV guide is virtually none existent. Only channel numbers! No guide at all, so we had to go channel by channel to see what was available. Other than that, everything else was good.
