Upon check in the front desk, lady was very rude. The TV was malfunctioning when we had gotten back to the room when we called we were told there was nobody to fix it and then the next day nobody called to make sure we are OK or nobody was sent to fix it.

Loved it!

The staff was amazing. The lady at the front desk was extremely helpful and so nice! Saturday there was a pool party for all ages and it was so much fun. The atmosphere and vibes were on point. They also have canoes and kayaks that you can use for the lake, which was pretty neat. The beds were extremely comfortable as well. We really enjoyed our stay.

As travellers visiting Scottsdale for the first time, it was a disappointing stay and consequently we would not recommen

The property is in a nice setting although their website presents better than you actually get.

The property failed to impress and appeared quite empty when we were there. Some of the staff appeared to lack enthusiasm for their job and were not that helpful. The one night we dined in the hotel, the Server attending to us, was excellent but his attitude and conduct was not mirrored by other staff in the hotel.

Disappointing!

Location is great. Close to shopping, dining, places to take a slow stroll.

The staff! From the person who checked us in to the Housekeeper who cleaned our room to the Manager I had to deal with because of an issue we had...The staff we encountered was rude, immature (yes, immature by making faces at me while I was speaking with her manager across the room) and uninformed. We sat in the bar for a drink before we left for dinner our last night there and the Bartender was great. He chatted with us and was informative. That makes him the only staff member we felt did their job well.

One of the very best stays!

Beautiful location, lovely rooms. Staff very kind, friendly, offering directions, dinner suggestions, water etc every time you walk in. We asked for an extra blanket and housekeeping was standing at our door with it when we got there! Because the pool heater was out, the desk clerk removed the $30 a day resort fee. We do wish we had more time to just be at the resort.

Beautiful ground and facility

It seems like the management is running on a very tight budget. We arrived at the Pinnacle Grill at 5:40 PM on a Saturday night and there was Zero staff. The pool was cold. The room lacked amenities. Only two paper cups by the coffee maker and no plastic cups in the bathroom. No bar soap on the shower. It just felt cheap.

Staff was very friendly.

Resort? Felt more like a roadside inn. Musty smelling. Decor was lacking. Not that it was bad, just not wall treatments. The small pictures in our room looked like small charcoal drawings from elementary school. Rooms and carpeting need updating. Black dings in the walls and door would not close without some force. Overall.... Not worth the $380 spent.

Underwhelming and too expensive for what it was

The lake

What I expected from the photos was not it. All the communication from the property said they were renovating the pool until September 20th. I booked our stay for the 28th pool was empty and nothing being done on it. Very disappointing. That was a main reason I booked, for the pool.

The maintenance crews were very friendly and accommodating. Hostess at check in Super! Room was ready early so that was a plus.

Unfortunately nothing

Unfortunately the loud and disruptive wall unit AC that was nonstop two controls that didn't work and when tried to turn off could only hear racing ghetto cars on the busy four plus lane street directly outside the "mountain view" room with an outdated sliding glass door and balcony that over looked a parking lot. This property is NOT a resort and it should not be able to charge innocent customers the $30 resort fee nightly. Lake shore and grass was peppered geese feces. Exterior access to hotel, smokers smoking at the entrance doors, abandoned shopping cart, hallways were deteriorated and not maintained building. Was very uncomfortable and disappointed to stay here and will never set foot on this property again. Misleading photos and reviews online.

the day we checked in there was a medication wrappers on the floor, towels were stained and bed sheets were also dirty the pillows smelled like they had some kind of perfume. i went to reception and we were moved to a different room with no view like the one i had booked, the morning after i went downstairs and asked for a room that i had booked. the receptionist was very understanding and switched us to the bottom floor which had a very nice view. When I was going to sleep I noticed there was a stain of blood on the bottom sheets on the bed, i went to show the receptionist pictures and was told i would be called back by the manager. I am really upset about having to move rooms 3 times in 2 days and both of them being dirty. The nice thing about it was that the girl in the front desk i spoke to was really nice about it.

Liked the pool and views from the room. Breakfast was good.

Single server, so breakfast took a while. The bed was a bit soft and not sure it was a full queen size? General condition of the property... it's an older property, I get that, but for the per-night cost: (i) it could have done with some paint on the room balcony (wood railings paint was cracked and gone in a lot of places). (ii) the sliding door onto the balcony was old and could use upgrading (iii) The AC unit was old and noisy (iv) the parking area to the right at the front of the building was pretty rough and could use some tarmac.

The perfect place to stay and enjoy Scottsdale and the surrounding area.

We loved the location, the views of both the lake and the mountains, the very friendly staff, boats and bikes use and the restaurant. Having a delicious breakfast in the restaurant with beautiful views and exceptional staff started everyday perfectly. I can't think of anything we did not like. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you.
