On the main road but there was very little traffic and we had a room facing the back of the house so it didn't interfere. Very friendly staff. Great breakfast.
Room was compact and very small bathroom, but workable. Definitely need eye shades as there is a skylight with no blind.

Breakfast is a major feature. Huge choice of whatever you could want.
Beautifully decorated home. In spite of being on the main road, it was quiet at night.
Mahone Bay is a very central location for day trips and the town is great to stay in.
I think a blackout curtain is needed on the front window. Outside lighting means it is very light at night, and at this time of year, it’s completely from 5.30am., so the small thin curtain is pillows need upgrading, and a choice of bedding would be helpful - the beautiful down duvet was way too hot.

Mahone Bay was very quiet the day we visited, and it was raining too. Nevertheless, it was an enjoyable stay. We received a friendly welcome and made to feel at home. The room was clean and comfortable. There's a pub just across the street from the venue with good food and drinks, very convenient! And the breakfast was excellent.
