Great location, friendly staff, basic but comfortable room, and very clean bathroom. It’s clear the staff thoughtfully include little touches to make your stay as comfortable as possible - from lemonade and cookies at welcome, a mini fridge in the room, having essentials (shampoo/conditioner, q-tips, disposable razors, blow dryer etc) in the bathrooms, and even storing luggage if you arrive early before check in. The property is as advertised and offers great value compared to the many other accommodations in the area which are double the price or more. Wholeheartedly recommend and would stay again!
As many reviews mention, lack of AC in summer is perhaps the only critique I can make, and it’s a small one given the property did do everything possible to ensure temperature comfort by having both an overhead fan and a rotating fan until their AC installation project in the future, so this would not keep me from staying again in the future or recommending this lodge wholeheartedly.

I liked the room, pool, and staff was very friendly. The snacks in the lobby were such a great touch.
There was absolutely no A/C. Even with the window open and the fan on high, room 534 had almost no ventilation. My guess is because of the shape of the roof directly outside the tiny window.
