Anyone planning a trip along Highway 132 will find the location of the Motel Nanook ideal. It is strategically located allowing a trip to be broken up if you plan to drive the Gaspe over 2 or more days.
I was attracted to this and the price and I was not disappointed.
The proprietor greeted me and made sure I was oriented regarding my room and location. I was only staying overnight so I did not need to pull much in the way of local knowledge from him.
It is evident he is passionate about his motel and my room had been updated and I found it comfortable and fulfilled my needs.
It is beside the highway, but (this was the first week of September) after about 9:00 PM there was not much in the way of traffic and I got a great sleep.
This property is well run and I recommend it for its facilities and because I found the owner to be a good person to do business with and support.
The motel property met my expecations. It is a older property but the owner has done a great job of improving the rooms and making them up-to-date.

It didn't include but breakfast but it was the perfect place for us to spend the night. It was close to the ocean so the beach was beautiful to walk on in the morning. The owner or staff person was very friendly and helpful.
