    From the beginning the staff were all so welcoming, the rooms were fantastic with lots of space and clean! There’s restaurants on site we ate at the sushi restaurant and got drinks and dinner at the main area there is also a quick service cafe/ mini store where you can buy food/fruit/coffee and essentials. In a great location easy to walk everywhere you’d want to visit!

    Our experience at the Hyatt Regency Chicago was one of the worst we've had at any major hotel chain. We booked a two-bed room, clearly stated on our reservation, but when we arrived, the front desk had no idea what was going on. They claimed they only had a one-bed room, and after some back and forth, they just dumped us into a random room that didn't even match the tier or quality of what we originally booked. No apology, no effort to make things right—just cold, unhelpful service. And to top it off, we were overcharged for the destination fee, even though our booking confirmation clearly stated the correct amount. When we brought it up, it was brushed off like it was our mistake. The contrast with the InterContinental, where we had stayed earlier, was shocking. At the InterContinental, everything was smooth, professional, and respectful. Hyatt felt like a chaotic afterthought in comparison. For a hotel that carries the Hyatt name and charges premium prices, this level of disorganization and lack of customer care is unacceptable. Won’t be returning, and can’t recommend it to anyone.
