The only down side is having to eat breakfast as soon as we got up. No time to enjoy the coffee first… having said that, it was still a lovely experience.

Hosts are incredible and breakfast is delicious. Backyard was lovely to walk around with our little dog and the swimming pool was warm and refreshing after a long day. Room was nicely appointed with good beds and blackout curtains. There are 3 rooms in total that could be rented out in the basement of the home which share 1 full bathroom (sink/toilet/shower/tub) and 1 (sink/shower) and 1 (sink/toilet). All guests were friendly and considerate of others and there is a lovely communal table for the homemade breakfast together and a great chat.
Rooms are close together and in the basement so even though all guests and hosts (main floor above) were very considerate and quiet, you still hear other guests arriving/departing and washroom usage throughout the night (doors opening/closing), etc. Fine for most travellers but bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper.
