Very nice, wonderful breakfast, expensive for value

The staff was great!! My son misplaced his hat while eating at they helped try to located it. At breakfast my daughter was cold and a cleaning lady brought her a blanket to use. There was a man that worked the front desk who was our favorite, he was very friendly and kind. The chef was fantastic in the mornings that did the eggs and was very friendly as well. We loved the breakfast in the mornings, was one of the families favorite part. The bed was comfortable, like a normal hotel though. My favorite part was the fact that I checked in beforehand, and picked my own room and had the key on my phone. Loved that part!!!!

The room was nice and decently spacious, wasn’t as big as I expected for the price. The bathroom needs to be remodeled. There was staining on the shower badly and there was something on our sink and flooring when we checked in. We had to make the front desk aware so it could be cleaned. Our friends, in a room beside ours, had a huge stain in the living room floor of something red when they checked in, it looked like someone had spilled a ton of juice or wine or something and it had sat and was bright red. So attention to detail would be nice with the cost of the hotel. The pool was very small as well, and there was a limit of people in there and most people didn’t follow that rule. So we couldn’t use much because it was so crowded. Everything was nice for the most part, but definitely not the nicest hotel we have stayed at and for the price felt it could have exceeded more expectations.

The manager was awesome. I booked two rooms thru booking.com. They put the two rooms in another computer generated name. She investigated and found the problem. She saved the day.

It was fun & pleasant.

Location, the pool, the room was comfy & spacious.

The breakfast was a little lacking, the hot cereal was like soup, bacon was very overcooked.

Overpriced

As we were going to be a late arrival 21:30 ish, I specifically requested hotels with room service and restaurants and both booking.com and the hotel website noted both available onsite. Firstly NOWHERE did either website note that restaurant and room service are unavailable on Sunday nights. Plus the receptionist directed us to the restaurant location furthest away and by the time we got there everything was closed. Calling the ‘line-order’ facility a restaurant is a liberty/stretch. Rooms were nice and comfy but facilities and amenities at that price are a stretch and overpriced. Will not use this group again.

Wouldn’t stay again

It was clean

When we checked in we given a room that hadn’t been turned, no sheets on the bed, pillows askew. Then we were given another room and we couldn’t control the temp in the room. It was very cold and uncomfortable. We turned the thermostat to heat and it still blew cold air. We turned it off and although the cold air wasn’t no longer blowing it was still cold.

Rude and misinformed

The renovations are beautiful.

The pool had a 5 people limit for 30 minutes and had to be reserved. I was NEVER told at check in about the pool even knowing I booked the room with children. I also was not able to get a reservation for the pool at all for my kids because they were booked! My kids were mad and the man at the front desk was very rude to me! I will never stay here again.

Family Trip

The amount of space. The separate bedroom for mommy and daddy time.

We booked for 3.. we had a little amount of towels for 3. And we reserved the room with a pull-out bed. But came with no completions for our daughter. Pillows, blankets. Had to go down and ask for it. The staff seemed bothered that we asked.

Nasp 24 trip

Breakfast was good. They had made to order omelets and eggs. My husband said the lady Cooking his eggs did a phenomenal job and was very down to earth.

Pool was closed and hotel was under construction but there was no heads up about it before booking. Very quiet overall.

We loved our stay!

Beautiful hotel with spacious suites, great breakfast included. The staff was friendly, professional and accommodating ( we had a late checkin after a long day of traveling). We’ll definitely come back when we’ll travel through Louisville / KY again.

Fantastic hotel if you have a car and need two rooms - but avoid the elevators!

The "happy hour" and such was great. The breakfast was very good. The room was very quiet despite being near a busy road. Having two rooms with a door between is a big plus. Everything worked as well as expected.

I asked for a quiet room, and wound up just across from the elevators. That is OK except that they have a loud DING everytime they open and close. Yikes! But, I managed to sleep as it wasn't too busy after 10 and I rise early. Just annoying. And easily avoidable but the person checking us in didn't know where the rooms actually were! Hmm.

Room not handicap friendly

Beautiful building and facilities. Breakfast was very good.

I was in a handicap accessible room with accessible shower. But there was a sliding door to the bathroom and the bathroom opening to get in was too small for my wheelchair. I just barely could get in but the problem was it's so close to the counter on the opposite side that I found it very hard to try to maneuver into the bathroom to use the shower and facility. It is not very handicap accessible or handicap friendly.

That the water pressure was not that great in the shower and the buffet was depleted by 9:30 and no one was replenishing the food prior to you requesting and most of the time nothing was available to replace missing items.
