Location, very good, staff were most helpful

We enjoyed our stay, however since leaving the property, we have been accused of damaging a dish in the kitchen. We did not touch or go anywhere near kitchen dishes, bowls etc. We used the microwave to heat some pizza, nothing more. The dish concerned must have been damaged by previous guests and not noticed by cleaning staff. We will be very disappointed if we are charged 50 dollars for something we di not do.

The Alpenglow Lodge is centrally located to pretty much everything a visitor is likely to want in Whistler.

Unfortunately, the pool was being renovated and as such was not available for us. The Alpenglow did reduce the nightly rate to make up for this.

Excellent location, quiet, comfortable bed, had a full kitchen, fireplace, A/C, very clean, lots of towels

Had a funny smell when entering the suite

Room itself was great, had air conditioning, a balcony, was well equipped and very pleasant. Location was perfect, a five minute wander into the main town, and near to places that serve food, but not right in the middle of the louder bits of town.

Staff did what they had to, but looked like we were an inconvenience. Rest of the hotel looked tired - only one lift was working and the stairs were more of a fire exit (concrete, very enclosed and had a musty smell). The parking lot was underground, smelt terrible and looked like it was falling apart. Also couldn’t find the stairs from there so had to take the one lift, which meant quite a wait sometimes.
