Great location. I liked that they also had bbq’s for people to use.

Everything exceeded our expectations! A hidden gem in a beautiful and peaceful location. Clean and comfortable stay. We will make this place a regular travel destination!

The location was very convenient. The motel is directly across the street from the lake. It is on a residential street good for walking. It was beautiful and very quiet. The people managing the motel were helpful, attentive, and provided clear information. This is a basic motel, with decent rooms. It was one of the cheapest options in the area, so I didn't expect many amenities or options. I was pleasantly surprised that there was a communal kitchen with a microwave, dishes, utensils, coffee/tea, refrigerator. This made it easy to prepare my own food. There was also a small refrigerator in the motel room. They have a nice sitting area with a fire pit, as well as a small playground structure for kids. They have tables and chairs in front of each motel room to sit outside, as well as other sitting areas on the property.

Nothing was a deal breaker for me, but there are a few things to know before you go. The motel is a bit dated. They could use some better attention to detail on the facilities. The bathroom in my room was clean, but it had some mold on the grout, which in older bathrooms is sometimes hard to remove. Not terrible, but not preferable either. There are no nearby food options, except for a food truck they have on premise (burger/Indian, with some vegetarian options) or to go into the town of Gananoque (about 9 miles away). Not a big deal, but either bring food or be prepared to venture into the town. Also, bug spray, since it's near water!

Situated in a scenic corner of Ontario lies this little quant motel. It has a safety situated fire pit, a barbeque and a kitchen with full size fridge that you can share with the other guests. There is a lovely green space well decorated with plenty of outdoor chairs and tables that are all clean and comfortable. There are no carpets.

The motel has been left and has been run down over the years. New owners have taken this over just a couple months back and they have some work ahead of them. With wobbly toilets gaps under the door (that may lead in a spider or two.) , ratty lampshades, and blinds that definitely don’t hold the light out, are a few of the little things that could be fixed.
