The Escapar cerca del Rio is a cozy house in the 1000 islands. Relax enjoy hot tub, outdoor sauna (April), outdoor fire pit, yard games and barbecuing. Sleeps up to 14. Coffee on the deck. A short walk to dock to 20’ dock for mooring your boat or rent ours. Kayaks available for your use. Go swimming clear to the bottom. Go fishing, have a coffee on the dock. Daily access to beach at Ivy Lea campground. Explore relax ….. have an adventure make memories. Catch a theatre show at Thousand Island Playhouse or chance your luck at Shoreline Casino in Gananoque. Enjoy a meal at the Ivy Lea Club or a round of golf at Smugglers Glen. Take a bike ride on the 1000 island trails (bikes provider April). Take a 1000 island boat cruises to see the islands and castles, explore Thousand Islands National Park by hiking or paddling, or visit historic sites like the Brockville Railway Tunnel. You can also visit the Aquatarium at Tall Ships Landing in Brockville or a drive in Movie at 1000 Island Drive In. The area is full of arts and culture.
The Escapar has 2 Bbq areas outside, have a glass of wine on the deck, relax in the hot tub, rejuvenate in the outdoor barrel sauna. Sit around the fire pit at night or fire table on the deck. Curl up with a book at the fireplace inside. Games room includes slate pool table, arcades, dart board, shuffle board, foosball and a hockey table. Outdoor games provided. Fully stocked, all linens, towels, toilet paper etc provided.
