Excellent location and friendly staff!! Clean comfortable beds and clean bathrooms! Showered with clean running water!! I was afraid of the previous reviews and didn’t know what to expect! Remember there is heavy mineral water here and it leaves water stains like iron deposits. This is cottage country and not the city !! Unlike some even fancier dwellings there was no musty smell !!
Small but new BBQ’s !! Needs occasional cleaning due to use from many guests.
This is not a fancy hotel it is a quaint simple peaceful and clean setting nestled near a national park. We have stayed in the cottages and the motel rooms. It is on the waters edge!! If you enjoy nature and want to be close to the city this is the place for you ! Pricing is comparable to other places!
The age of the property shows and needs some TLC like sanding and painting on the exterior to make it shine. The owners just bought the property and are working hard!! New sign would help also !! Please remove old tattered flags.
Guests should be reminded to appreciate the surroundings and not litter (water bottles left on the beach). Sorry I don’t have pictures!

Room was great, clean and location was perfect. Would love to come back in the summer.
TV was a little outside the door was pretty icy.

Friendly staff
It was freezing in that room! The floors were very cold and the draft close to floor was very cold. We brewed coffee at 1 am to warm up.
