Super clean! Would have been great view of the lake if it wasn’t so smoky from the fires nearby. Not a typical situation and no fault of the host

Lots of stairs down to property made it challenging carrying all my stuff up and down but it was manageable. It would have been hard for someone who wasn’t fit or very mobile. Also found the kitchen, though well equipped was small with tiny fridge. As I don’t eat out, I prepare all my own food so things were pretty squished. There was another little fridge in the kitchen that was not in working order at the time. It was a good thing as I was the only person there as it is a communal space with multiple available rooms. It would’ve been fine if a person didn’t need the kitchen like I did, otherwise a beautiful space. I stayed in the room with king-size bed which was giant size and also had a little table and chairs in the room which was very nice if I had to be sharing with other guests but I was on my own. I left a day early, not due to anything about the accommodations, but that the smoke in the area was really bad and I didn’t see the point of sticking around any longer. I would’ve loved to have been there under the usual circumstances like sunny skies and a beautiful lake so close by. I definitely still recommend it, thank you!

Good location, beautiful view of the lake, lovely Family Room suite, and spacious shared “living room” and little kitchen with all the dishes, utensils, etc. needed to do some of your own meal prep.

We tend to prefer somewhat firmer a mattress than what was there, but that is certainly a personal preference!

The location was great and the outside space to sit with the view was nice. Enough chairs and table for us all to sit comfortably and enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine. The host was friendly and available as well as being responsive to requests. Everything you needed in the kitchen and bathrooms were provided.

When I rented the property I did so off of the photos which showed two bedrooms and baths with kitchen and living room. When we got there we were told that the living room was being used for storage and was not available. I paid for something and it was not what we got. There were 4 of us and an indoor place to gather was part of what I looked for when renting a space. That was disappointing, and to not have been notified about that from the host prior to our arrival took away my choice for change and felt discourteous at best, manipulative at worst. The only other negative was that we were unable to independently control the temperature in the space (which is the downstairs of the hosts house). I had to call the host to request the air conditioning be turned on, etc.
