Overall, this stay was okay and the room itself was comfortable and generally clean, but I ran into a few communication / follow-through issues that I think future guests should know about.
I had been told the hide-a-bed would be prepared (I was originally coming with three kids, updated to two the day before), but when we arrived around 10pm it wasn’t set up and there were no sheets, so we ended up squeezing into the king bed for the night. I also requested a noon checkout and was told it was approved at no fee; however, when I returned on Sunday morning slightly after 11, housekeeping had already entered and left cleaning items in the room, which didn’t feel comfortable. Finally, there was confusion around pricing: the amount charged at the hotel differed from what I expected from Booking (I was told some taxes weren’t included, which is the first time I’ve experienced that), and I also got mixed messages about whether there were extra charges per child—nothing dramatic, but it left me feeling uncertain and a bit annoyed. If the hotel can tighten up internal communication (front desk / housekeeping) and make pricing details clearer upfront, it would improve the experience a lot.
