Very cozy and romantic. Staff extremely nice. Breakfast brought to room and tasted great. Fireplace added to the cozy atmosphere, nice garden outside the room.
It would be nice to have coffee and tea facilities in the room. There is a coffee machine available to guests in the hotel, but it was not very convenient.

Many things: - i thought we had paid when we had booked - disappointed to find we had not, and suddenly had to pay $553.89 CAD when we arrived. - receptionist, very brief told us the hotel next door could provide dinner (we found out it had not been open for 2 years) - breakfast was disappointing, and very over rated in reviews - served in room and very egg dominant. I know it was included, but the guest house we stayed in at Victoria charged 30 % of the room hire and $10 pp for breakfast and the breakfast was beautiful. - Would have been good to have breakfast in the dining area rather than perched on a small table in our room. - did not like the bath and shower being in the bedroom - would have be
