Location was excellent in La Malbaie (which is a very small town). We were on the river. The breakfast was exceptional and the staff were very friendly.
our first night there happened to be a birthday party in the restaurant downstairs. It was quite noisy until 11 pm. the other night it was very quiet. I don't think parties are normal, but we were not expecting this. it could be helpful to point out that there is a restaurant connected to the lodging and let people know if there is a planned event that may be noisy. also suggest letting people know on the website that certain sized rooms do not come with showers (ours had one, but we didn't know that some rooms didn't have one until after the booking). Overall, very nice place and would stay there again.
