Hampton Inn Chicago-O'Hare International Airport

Perfect spot for an airport stay, and very well set up for a stay before/after/between flights. The free shuttle runs every 15mins and takes about 10-15mins to the hotel. The hotel itself is nothing that special - but everything it offers is well thought out and just works really well for a short stay. The rooms are big, with blackout blinds and very comfortable beds. Toiletries are all provided so you don't have to unpack much. The pool and jacuzzi are great and both were totally empty when we stayed so we had them completely to ourselves. Staff are friendly and helpful. There's plenty of space to sit and chill out in the reception/lounge area if you've got time to kill before your flight too. All in its a very good value option!

My only very minor thing would be some healthier options at the breakfast buffet (the waffles, muffins, baked stuff was great but there was very little fresh fruit, yoghurt or vegetables).

It rained too much, but that had nothing to do with the facilities

We were stuck in traffic going back to check out, but the staff was incredibly nice and accommodating when we called to extend our check-out way past the usual time. They were very understanding and attentive.
