BearlinCity Apartments - City Center West

The location within Berlin was excellent with a nice park opposite and deli /bakers downstairs, but more importantly easy to get around by bus/metro. It was clean /freshly renovated inside (they forgot window ledges tho!). Although I did not meet anyone I did have good photograph instructions to key and to entry.

It wasn't the apartment in any of the pictures. But it was fine inside. I only wanted a bed/base anyway. It could benefit from a sofa (move table under TV and there is room). Pillows are really awful (even if you use two and fold them double you still sink) - an easy fix for owners. Toilet seat broken. The worst bit is from front door of apartment block to apartment including a very old lift (I was not entirely comfortable solo and would have liked a lock on inside of apartment door because of this). Despite all of this, I would definitely recommend as it was clean and great location.

Enjoyed the location and easy access to public transportation.

Interior is a bit dated and there was no microwave/oven for easy reheating.

However the location is very good and there are many shops like bakery, grocery…close by, I always needed means of transport to Berlinale venues

We had a Whats-App-Communication just before arrival and the host waited at the door though we were too early.

The TV didn't work - but we didn't ask for help - our fault. We asked for leaving the suitcase on the day of our departure anywhere in the house, but it wasn't possible. The locker at the station (the host's tips) were perfect.
