    It's quite far from the city, it takes at least 1.5 hours to get anywhere close to Toronto by transit but there's AMAZING affordable independent restaurants in walkable distance. The hotel staff were helpful enough and the space seemed clean. Compared to the prices of other places, this was great value for the money. There was free continental breakfast with lots of options, although some of the offerings (namely mini croissants) were very stale. The pool was small but not busy (we went at about 8 PM and it closes at 10). I had never swam in a saltwater pool and I pictured a more luxurious ocean-like feeling, but if you're also swimming in one for the first time, be warned that it has all the same downsides as chlorine. The chemical smell stayed on our skin after 2 showers, and felt terrible in our hair. It even bleached my girlfriend's bathing suit a bit. Overall a good place with a few downsides.

    The place is elegant, location is accessible, and it’s clean. I think maybe upgrade your television to smart tv, it’s a little frustrating that my netflix can’t connect to google cast, only youtube. Also, their bfast is mainly different kinds of bread. But overall it was a great experience to stay here.

    First the room felt like a double or queen room, didn’t feel like a king room and I’ve stay r in a lot of king room, so I know what a king room should look like and then I found strands of human hair on the bed linen, lastly the sink wouldn’t drain, literally took forever to drain. Needless to say that I won’t be returning to this particular Monte Carlo
