Staying in Golden at Glenogle Lodge was the absolute highlight of our trip. Being tucked away from the heavy tourist crowds in Banff made all the difference. The lodge and accommodations are spectacular—spotlessly clean, comfortable, and the views from literally every angle are magnificent. Whenever we needed anything, it was handled immediately. What truly set this place apart, though, was the hostess. She is incredibly warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. She didn't just host us; she made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. I couldn't recommend this place more highly.

- Very friendly owner/staff - Big room - Nice location - Hummingbirds!
- Room was in (high) basement - No heating - thus some basement smell - Could not lock door when leaving for daytrip - Fitness facilities did not work and some were very of very poor quality

There were no amenities. It was ridiculous expensive and awkwardly set up.
