Affordable accommodations. Free parking, frequent bus service to downtown Quebec. You can buy a day or weekend bus pass at the cafeteria. There were meal services on campus as well. Shopping center near by if you are looking for that.
Looking for the room can be an adventure in itself, perhaps that should be a plus. There was no mention of an Elevator in the building I stayed in (which is useful when handling luggage), however it exists and works if you know how to operate it. There's no A/C, but at least the windows open to allow a breeze. It's a scavenger hunt to find the restroom and shower rooms the first time.

I really appreciated the three days of free bus fare, especially considering the distance to the city centre. Also, the staff at the cafeteria were very nice.
The lack of air conditioning. Room could get very hot during the day.
