I booked this hotel because the location is convenient for my work.

I stayed at the hotel for two nights. Unfortunately, there was no air conditioning in the room. At the time, I complained to the front desk because the air quality was quite bad, but they didn’t do anything about it. Later, Jen mentioned that if I booked with them again, they would offer an upgrade. We’re planning to return to the same place in May, so I called the hotel to check the price. It turned out that the direct booking rate was nearly double the price on Booking.com—almost $1,000 for two nights, compared to just over $500 plus tax on Booking.com. I reminded them of the previous issue and the promised upgrade, but they refused to offer any discount or upgrade. They only said, “We’ll make sure the air conditioning works this time.” Honestly, it feels like they’re just misleading customers, and the whole experience was really disappointing. That’s why I left a review for the hotel.
