Patio De Convento

We had a great stay. Location was great, just a 10/15 min stroll into the lovely town centre. Comfortable beds & plenty of space.

Only slight gripe is that the air con has a particularly bright LED screen sort of thing, and is quite noisy (noisier than others in my opinion) which impacted my sleep a bit , and the underground car park is very difficult to get out of (ridiculous design!)

A great spacious two bedroom apartment centrally located and with parking, nice peaceful and a spacious pool area. Sofia helped us to check in and was very friendly helpful and available for any questions. Plentiful kitchen amenities even a juicer and barbecue on the balcony

Great location only a short walk to the old town and marina for a huge choice of bars and restaurants and an even shorter walk to the nearest Lidl and Pingo Doce. The bed was very comfortable as was all the furniture and a great shower with towels for bath and poolside provided. Plenty of kitchen equipment and a spacious balcony with table and chairs for four. There’s a nice little coffee shop and a restaurant within a 2 minute walk with a few more eateries one or two minutes walk further. Lovely to have a parking space in the underground car park but it’s a little tight entering and exiting.

The pillows, for us, were too soft and a mirror in the main bedroom would be a great addition instead of having to use the second bedroom to see when drying my hair and putting on make up. Also a full length mirror would be a good thing to have.

De locatie was perfect! Een erg mooi appartement in een kleinschalig complex met een zwembad en meer dan genoeg bedjes. Het appartement is heerlijk ruim en heeft een groot balkon (geen uitzicht op het zwembad, maar dat vonden wij helemaal niet erg). De afstand naar het strand van Meia Praia was ongeveer 20 minuten lopen, hier kan je bedjes en een parasol huren (15 euro voor 2 bedjes en een parasol) of je kunt op een vrij stuk strand liggen. Wij waren er in augustus en er was meer dan genoeg plek op dit strand. Als je naar het strand van Dona Ana gaat, moet je echter heel vroeg gaan wil je een plekje hebben (er zijn niet heel veel bedjes en deze kosten 25 euro voor 2 bedjes en een parasol). De afstand naar het oude centrum van Lagos is ongeveer 15 minuten lopen. Verder waren er meerdere supermarkten en restaurantjes / koffietentjes op loopafstand van het appartement. We werden ontvangen door Sofia en zij heeft ons een tour door het appartement gegeven en nog wat tips voor de omgeving. Het was een prima verblijf dus!

Het appartement ( meubilair) is wat verouderd, maar was voor ons absoluut geen probleem!!
